Unfortunately, female metal singers almost never remove their shoes, but sometimes they work with aerial dancer artists, and they perform barefoot, which is very nice to see.

...me neither, though I'd be much more interested in any female fans who're barefoot. Thus there's no 'artistry' or 'look' here as there would be with a singer; just a girl barefoot at a metal gig.....or any other gig. Anyone know of such a video?

I posted one here a couple of years ago of a girl barefoot at a Lightning Bolt gig but oddly, it never got much traction. It's one of my favourites to this day.

The girl in the stripey top first appears at around 10.08 and shows her friends how she's either lost her shoes or hasn't worn any. From then on we get occasional glimpses of her in the seething crowd, apparently unconcerned about being shoeless in such an environment.

The best bit is 21.10 to 21.25 where even the cameraman tilts his camera down to get her feet in shot.

It's quite an opld piece of film from 2007 and shot in a fairly wobbly way but I can see why given the type of gig it was.

This is one of those clips where a combination of imagination and raw footage give best results.

There are other glimpses too and it helps to watch the footage around 'the best bits' to really get some context.

For me, one of the finest barefoot girl clips ever. It's real, raw and grimy.

Again, it's a pretty grainy film but play it at .25 speed and during the camera flashes you can see that one of the girls is barefoot. Again, the grimy reality of this is what makes it so appealing.

"Videogang" was a swiss tv program for teenagers, produced by a local tv station in Zürich. It started to broadcast some time in the mid 90s and existed for about 25 years, this clip must be from the early 2000s. It is an interview with Merit, a girl that does never wear shoes. The interview was taken at Zürich train station and she talks a little bit about why she is barefoot and how she deals with the cold temperatures.

The clip is also from the mid 2000s and shows a short report about a young girl from the City of Heilbronn who goes barefoot all summer. She is not (unlike Meret from the other clip) a "hardcore barefooter" but she consideres beeing barefoot part of her outffit. She loves to dress in a way that she sticks out from the other people and found barefooting a good way to be noticed by other people as it is very unusual. She walks barefoot in summer only and does not make any exceptions, she walks barefoot everywere, in school etc. She talks about having the occassional small splinter that she removes using a needle and that her friends and family generally support her barefooting with some friends questioning the hygiene when visiting public toilets but she does not think that that is a problem.

The clip was done for "Stimmt", a part of "Stimme", the local newspaper from Heilbronn. The youtube channel seems to be inactive since many years, but the Newspaper still exists. They seem to have stopped the videos for teenagers after only a short time. With only 44 Subscribers at that time, the clip seems to be much more unknown than the previous one from Swiss TV.
