I'm going to stroll trough it, just to get out of town, to get some motion, to breath fresh air, because there are many people in town, always busy, so I need to ground/ go back to nature, being barefoot is the most simple way to ground,direct contact with the ground, to feel the structure, the things under my feet, therefore I do it occasionally.... 3:50 Today it is quite cold, barely + 0°C, and it is snowing a little bit, one can see that my feet got a reddish colour tone, it was very cold on the bike, because my feet don't move very much while biking, so they feel very cold, but moving fast brings them back on a comfortable temperature, 4:35 talks about blueberrys and trees,... I wasn't quite often barefoot recently, I wore shoes the last days, I do it by instinct, I don't have to walk barefoot imperatively, ...5:39 there are different course, to excercise...6:30 this forest is very pretty, I recently discovered it, it's thick, I will be more often in this forest; Thats's awesome! 7:21 I'm going to answer two questions some people send me: Nr.1: „Do you (Flechthexe) feel the ground, the pebbles, mud, texture of the soil as is usual or your soles turned to though/hard to feel the nuances?“ - I dont think there could be a too hard, my soles got a leatherlike quality, equally thick over my entire sole, I still feet everything, I can feel the gravel, and it's uncomfortable, so I remove it; ... I don't think my feet can get too hard, I have no cracks on my soles, just consistent and neat (soles). 8:35 Nr.2 „What will you do if you step on chewing gum? Will you remove it immediately will you ignore the gum sticking to your sole?“ - I immediately remove everything what I step on, because I can still feel it, I don't like stuff sticking to my soles. I never stepped on chewing gum, I also don't like it when my feet are stained with nasty dirt, natural dirt like the soil of the forest is ok, but the dirt from the streets, walking trough cities, getting jetblack soles from nasty „not natural“ dirt I don't like, so I prefer to wash my feet. I dont like it anymore to have dirty feet, I prefer them clean.(she said something complete different in older videos...) 10:35 right now my feet feel quite tepid, As I told, I have worn frequentlly shoes, by instinct, when I felt the need to do it, closed shoes or Flipflops, I don't have to be barefoot. It is interesting, that wearing shoes causes me pain, it's astonishing how you can dishabituate to wearing shoes, and establish a more natural way of walking, which is much more healthy, shoes causes me pain in my knee,..it's weird... Thanks for the translation.. now I have more elements to conclude that the girl is deffo NOT my cup of tea.. she does not seem to be into urban barefooting, and there is no "glamorous/seductive" approach to her barefoot lifestyle.. As for her frequent inconsistencies.. maybe she just had too many joints on that day.. |

Unfortunately I saw her post this on social media Okay everybody, BIG announcemnet, due to safety regulations from American Idol, I have to wear shoes while on stage now. Although it makes me so sad, safety is first and i will ALWAYS be barefoot in my heart up there! much loveee That really stinks. I guess women singers can sing and dance in 5 inch heels and that is supposed to be safer? |

A very good clip and an interesting woman. You are right when you say that hearing a woman talk about going barefoot is somewhat special. If I had any say in here, I´d ask Paul to include a short interview with each model. In fact, there is (was?) a site called Russian Barefoot Women, I think, where each new model started with an audition. Brilliant! My Russian is almost non existent, in spite of that I always got the gist. I especially liked this interview: It starts in the studio. We see the girl and her soles. Why are you here? I want to be a foot model. Do you like walking barefoot? Yes, I do. Would you like to walk barefoot today? Where? In the street. But it´s cold there. I know, but you want to be a foot model. Am I right? Yes. Shall we go outside? OK. Will you go barefoot? Yes, I´ll go outside in my bare feet. But ít´s cold there. I know. Then there is a cut and we see the girl take her shoes off in snow. Absolutely! I saw it recently, and it's really scary. And yes, the main character is barefoot in like 2/3rds of the movie, often outside in setting where she'd normally be wearing shoes. You don't see any really dirty feet shots, but there's definitely some sexualizing of her feet. It's not as over-the-top as a Tarantino movie in that way, but it's nice. |

| Not a translation, but a summary. She is a Spanish visiting Brisbane, in Australia, and talking about the barefoot way of life there. She decides to try it herself and finds that the city streets are pretty clean, no dog poo, no glass shards, and that the only inconvenient would be on very hot days. She then interviews some barefoot people she finds (in English). At the end she shows her soles are pretty clean. |

I checked out this woman's Facebook page. She has quite a few barefoot photos, but none in city streets. She commented on one photo how she doesn't like walking barefoot in the city. It's too bad, but it goes to show how courageous and carefree those girls who choose not to wear shoes even in filthy city streets are, as many other women who otherwise would go barefoot won't do so. |

I totally agree: both of them are way too young. However, even at this age they show us one important fact: Russia is full of incredibly beautiful girls and women. Speaking of a new trend, well I´d be careful here. It´s clear that they did it just for fun and on top of that they complained that their feet were freezing when they were walking in the mall. First, something called Hook Line and Chill which features a guy going fishing in the US accompanied by a sometimes barefoot female companion. You'll have to sift through the videos to see which ones feature the barefoot girls but the best ones are those where the girl arrives barefoot and climbs down the ladder rather than takes off her shoes in the boat - anyone can do that. | Another in my occasional series of music related barefoot girls. I came across this while idling through YouTube. My vote goes to the first girl who is barefoot when she gets on stage though all credit to the second girl too who kicks off her shoes into the crown careless of whether she'll ever see them again; well done both of them. I'd love to see Paul shoot a series where a barefoot girl and her SHOD friends go to a bar, a gig, a club etc. Key thing is that our heroine remains the only one barefoot. | great finds, that first one is awesome.. i have been to this venue in munich often before, though unfortunately not at this concert especially in munich i was able to often spot barefoot girls on the tollwood summer festival, there is really lots of kindness and openess is happening there, maybe i shall visit the festival again this summer, we will see :-) and the steel-panther video is great too, its not to uncoming that especially on this song some girls will also show their boobies there is a very early set on city-feet with Alena & Asya where they visited a metal-concert barefoot, i really loved this set, btw: also thanks for your previous hook line &chill mention, i dig this channel |

| Not sure whether I've mentioned these people before - don't think so- but Caters Clips occasionally give us some really sharp night time footage of Birmingham (UK not Alabama). Anyone familiar with Broad Steet will know that it's full of clubs and bars and, after a certain time of the evening, barefoot girls. Occasionally, we ctach a glipse of these girls i his fils though sadly, he's clearly not 'one of us' and so he doesn't focus on them. Here's one such example, but there are others. I'd suggest putting 'Broad Steet night' or somerthing like that into Google if you want to explore further. Sadly what with global lockdown, I think it'll be a long time before we get any new material generated. I think too this illustrates what excellent qulaity video it's possible toi film at night. So......once we get up and running again I'd STRONGLY suggest to Paul that he go for some night time shoots. One shoot I'd love to see is a bunch of say four girls - dressed very much like our Broad Steet friends - go out on the town in Moscow and ONE OF THEM is barefoot. Of the other three one is in boots, one in strappy sandals and the other in closed heels. Unfortunately, she complains during the whole video how walking barefoot is unfomcortable for her as you see, she even weared only socks when she entered the shop... in the first comment, she wrote that she was sick for the whole week after that...Second video is much better because this woman walks barefoot with pleasure without complaining. |

| Found this documentary, called Revolution. It's from 1968 and depicts the hippies of San Francisco. Lots of great bf hippy women throughout. Is it just me, or is the woman at approximately 20:00 wearing barefoot sandals? Lots of bare feet, but barefoot sandals stand out. You almost never see women wearing them. There were actually plenty of Belly Dancers dancing with dirty feet especially dancing in Shisha / Hookah Cafe but unfortunately most of them wasn't caught on tape. Probably due to poor lighting / dark environment which can't really see them if you don't have a proper photography equipment. | I see that nudescalze bowed out of the forum on a high note, and with his customary elegance! As for the Hungarian girl in the videos/pictures.. I strongly disagree with nudescalze on two very important elements (to me at least): 1) I find the girl very good looking, and surely not "insignificant". 2) The videomaking skills that emerge from the videos are definitely good, including post-production. Several commercial videos (including my own, to be honest ) are not as good.Yet I have to fully agree with nudescalze on two other aspects, which are equally important to me: 3) The girl is indeed the typical "attention seeker", who is so common on the web nowadays. "Shod yesterday, barefoot today, shod again tomorrow", when she will use another trick to get the attention of a different public. Will she still be barefooting in, say, eight or ten years from today, to play in the same league of Olga Gavva, Cecilia Descalza, Janina or Swains? I don't think so. 4) The barefoot dudes that also appear in the videos are a HUGE turn-off/nuisance. AVOID. |
