If I could do it over, I would have spent a summer during my university years studying in Germany. Imagine having the opportunity to spend the summer hanging out (and possibly hooking up with) cute girls like this and never seeing them wear shoes.

I would doubt that. I am a occassional visitor to Rudolstadt Music Festival myself an while there are many barefoot people walking around, nearly all of them simply take off their shoes for comfort for some time. It is almost never the case that somebody comes to the festival complely barefoot. I asked Burkhard once, he told me that he vistis Rudolstadt Festival now on-and-off for 30 years, first time beeing in 1995, and in all this yeas so far met 3 full-time-barefoot girls that came to the festival without bringing shoes. One of the girls from the 90s (I posted this old picture here a short time ago) and 2 girls more recently, maybe 10-15 years ago, that did not own any shoes, he posted this picture recently on his old account before it got deleted.

I would guess this picture was taken in the moring before the concerts start and this girl left her shoes at the tent but brought some for concerts at night - during night there are some times punk etc concerts at big stages and even the most hardcore barefoot visitors will gernerally put one some shoes for this concerts.

Not only for this, also Burkhard sees himself manily as a phtographer and believes that the picutres taken at conventions are better due to lighting etc inside. He is more interessted in good quality pictures and does not really care if the model is a "real barefooter", portaits a barefoot cosplay character or simply takes off the shoes for a shooting. Sometimes, if he e.g. takes a picture of a barefoot girl in the streets, I would love for him to ask if she is a frequent barefooter etc, but he does not really care as long as he can take the picture.

I noticed recently he moved to picures von renessance fairs, I like them a bit more than his cosplay-pictures.

Well, either way, that girl he photographed at Rudolstadt was cute as hell and her feet looked pretty dirty. She seems like a throwback to his 90s photos of hippie chicks with dirty feet that were so good.

True, I really like her style and I suppose she is a barefooter, just seems very unlikely that she would be a hardcore-24/7-Barefooter
