Hello all three of you. Warning, this is a post which you will find petulant and moany, but I literally can’t think of anywhere else I could post this. I need to do so for my sanity really, disgusted though I am with my own immaturity here… even if I do make some valid points.

I’ll start off with a couple of questions. If needed, the context for them can be seen in the rest of this post, but it is a long read you will understandably just skim over. So they are:

Paul/Feeto/Hal/JDVS/Zane: On the days of shooting for your respective sites, were there any models who definitely had no significant other (no bf/fiancé etc) at the time?

Anyone: Are there any straight women you know (personally or on social media) to be single barefooters below the age of, say, 40? I have no intention of contacting them. That would be weird – and reveal my true identity. So it’s just for my own reassurance.

WHY I’M ASKING

A bit of backstory. I broke up with my girlfriend back in November and haven’t spoken since. Maybe it’s affecting me more than it should?

She was an ice-cold bitch towards the end, and I still genuinely believe that my subtle and not-so-subtle attempts to try and touch (or even see) her bare feet more often were a contributing factor.

Anyway, that’s by the by, and not what this post is about. No. This is about the sheer volume of young barefoot women who are already taken – from where I’m sitting it looks like damn near 100% of them are unavailable. Though I guess the same might be said for non-barefooters tbh…

It’s something that’s always been at the back of my mind, but my breakup sort of brought it to the fore. The Instagram thread (below) is something that contributes to this feeling.

To name a few off the top of my head there’s Leafy’s feet, Peachyqueen (real name Libby), Cecilia, Sierra (the young, slim and pretty 2011 version anyway!), none of whom seem to have ever been without a partner for more than a few weeks at a time. Certainly not for more than about a year.

To be honest I don't know any barefooters IRL and don't really pay much attention to the relationships of the foot models I follow on IG, but the ones you mentioned seem to have been in long term relationships anyways.

Not sure if you’re looking for dating advice or just wanted to blow off steam, but I never tried dating around foot fetish stuff. The jam band scenes where you might find barefoot hippie girls was definitely not for me. I’d just try to find women who I had a connection with and if it advanced far enough, would introduce the fetish slowly. Do not despair! I know for certain that at least 5 or 6 of the women I photographed were single, at least when they were shooting with me. A few of them even flirted with me, told me they wanted to do more photo shoots, and contacted me afterward to shoot again. (I kept it professional with all my models, maybe stupidly.)

I don't think any of my models were hard-core barefooters like the hippies Hal was photographing for Toes In Action. I kind of doubt such people exist anymore in the US. But some of my models clearly had a lot of fun barefooting, and if they were dating someone who appreciated that, I'd bet they would have gone places barefoot sometimes.

The hard part is finding these women. If I hadn't put out ads for models, I never would have known which women were willing barefooters and which were not. I've only had two girlfriends in my life who were occasional barefooters, and I didn't know it until we were already dating.

I'm not sure this will be any consolation, Duffman847, but as I've written here in the past, what I've done is find an escort who will go on barefoot dates. It takes some searching, of course, and clearly you don't have a relationship with them, but for five or six hours, the fantasy becomes a reality. Last one I did was a rock gig back in April. Now, coming to your question.
Between BUG and BN I have shot more than 150 barefoot beauties since 2004. Not all of them are Italian, but the great majority are. Well, I would say that only a minority (a rough estimate can be less than 10%) were single when they posed for me. The reason is simple: most of the girls who have posed for me are at least good looking; some girls who have posed for BN maybe not that much (or at least, they may be unsuitable for mass consumption ), but they are in any case VERY uninhibited, and this can offset so-so looks. In Italy we use to say that "good merchandise does not stay on the shelves for long", so there are limited chances that an attractive woman remains single for long. The only exceptions to that are women who are very selective when looking for a significant other, and women who have had bad experiences with / sore disappointments from their partners.
A further handicap of Italian BUG/BN models is that basically none of them is strictly speaking a "barefooter". All of them are obviously super-comfortable with barefooting, some are more barefoot than shod in the warm months, but most of them are appealing also to dudes who are not into barefooting at all, and if they happen to like those dudes a lot, they have no problem in wearing shoes, including fuck-me stilettos (until they get annoyed with that, and kick their shoes off ). You'll probably be horrified to read that quite a few BUG and BN models told me that their partners could not care less about their feet, or found their barefooting habits a bit weird/funny.

DUDE: I guess I was just having one of those nights where you simply aren’t mentally in a good place for whatever reason. I’m sure we’ve all been there, especially when living alone. I’m the only single person in my immediate family (not counting my long-widowed grandmother).

I still miss dad a lot, but in these months I am particularly worried by my health status, which is deteriorating further.
