yet, i'm only a casual barefooter, because my work does not allow me to be barefoot without shoes.. in the summer i use every oppertunity to walk barefoot. as a child i never liked shoes!

Polina a "casual barefooter"?

As far as I know, during the Summer she barely wore shoes at all... she wore them for her Spanish classes only, other than that she was barefoot all the time, everywhere.

I would call Polina a "seasonal barefooter" as during Winter I don't think she walks barefoot outside as often. But not casual.

No offense to anyone, but as beautiful as Polina is and as much as I really enjoy her posts, I don't think she really walks barefoot other than for photos and maybe a few incidents to indulge us (and even on those, i have to wonder a bit if shoes are near). Just look at her feet, they stayed pretty tender and didn't really callus much. The soles of those who go barefoot a lot are much much more rough...

now, because of winter my soles have gone soft again. so i can't walk on glass yet. but i try walk on gravel and cigarettes for you soon. and next summer i show you, how to crush a coconut with my feet

no problem for you? and you've done it before or you do it all the time in the summer.
How tough do your feet get?

I used to go with a girl who liked walking and crushing light bulbs barefoot.
That's is something you and Cecilia could try.
I have some photo of her, but I can't get to load right now (post them later when I can)

And how in heck do crush a coconut barefoot?
