Translation: - Hi! My nane is Olesia, I'm editor of site bocukom.ru. - All streets in this city are tiled with plates... or even with rocks. And it was one of reasons for me to take shoes off in Prague. It was very warm, and it was impossible to wear no snackers or even sandals, it was much more comfort barefoot. And it was extra pleasant to walk on rocks barefoot. - My backpack is always with me, and I use to attach sandals to it's side. It solved many problems, as when i felt too hot under my feet I've put sandals on again. Or if i feet too hot in them, I've put them off and walk barefoot. It's very comfortable way to move through the city. - People use to take off shoes in the country and walk on grass, or dirt, and they don't care about it. So I don't care while walking in the city. There were no cigarette butts or glass debris there, I don't remember any. /* She's talking about the Prague */ Most messy season in Moscow is winter. And spring, and autumn. It's cleaner in the summer, i think. There is no slush-everywhere in the summer. In whole Prague is cleaner then Moscow, less people throw crap in the streets. It's cleaner there. - When you walk barefoot in the Moscow people usually ignore you. Just do not notice, or watch at you with shock and incomprehension, but tell you nothing. Or put some hurtful comment on you, the worst case. I don't want to say any bad, but it's my personal experience. And in the Prague most of people do not notice it, maybe because of we were walking on popular tourist routes. Or like that Canadian what i wrote about. - He run to me and almost shout "Oh my god! You're standing here! Barefoot! You have dreads! How do you look like! You look like hari-krishna!" /* She told last sentence in English.*/ So he left, and right after it a crowd of Krishna people appears on the square. I say to my friend: "Look, there are Krisha people, he was talking about them!", and same time this Canadian drives out of side-street, notices me, run to me again and say "Oh! Look! There are your friends I was talking about!!!". Such a strange story about friendly person in the city. We met him few times in Prague, what was a surprise as we didn't look for meeting with him. He told us he's movie director or like that, and person of art. What was the reason of his delight meeting us? I don't know. It was look like person is standing in the heart of city, but looks like he's still in the country. Maybe it's way of attracting more attention. - I'm going out of metro and suddenly understand that it will be more comfortable to take clothes off. Oh! I ment to take shoes off! ( facepalm, laughting ) I'm taking sneakers off, place it on my backpack or carry in hands, and walk where i was going to. It happens when I'm in center of Moscow. In the summer nothing prevents me doing this, it's absolutely spontaneous. -------------------- Regards
