At the end of this month I will take ten months barefoot. I am preparing a video to my journal and I want to answer any questions you have for me
I also want to overcome challenges before reaching my first year without shoes and would like ideas on how you celebrate it. I'd like to hear their proposals.
All ideas, questions and challenges are welcome.

Congratulations Cecilia on the wonderful development of your beautiful feet. It is an amazing thing to see you remain barefoot through winter, however I would like to know more about your daily customs and present you with a challenge to demonstrate how far you have come in a year. It is impressive to go barefoot in the cold and snow, but I am curious about your method of travel, do you only commute by barefoot or do you travel by auto or bus? To be barefoot in winter is difficult, to be sure, my wife experiences the same, so I know that brief periods of exposure are not as hard as longer times of exposure, as cold is not as difficult if there is no snow or ice. My question is to challenge you to discover the extremes of your new ability and endurance. At what point do your bare feet become affected beyond your ability to endure? How long can you remain exposed in the cold and snow? How cold can you endure for how long? How far can you travel through snow and ice without needing to take a break to warm your bare feet? Can you function as comfortably barefoot as others do in snow boots? How about you challenge some other girl in barefeet or in snow boots to determine the extreme differences? Would absolutely love to see you beat out another girl in boots in a barefoot challenge. Are you up to this challenge?

Ten months barefoot are already an overcomed challenges,Congratulations !

You should already be proud of this, and the most high level challenges you can take will be stay barefeet for all the life.

But for a more immediate challenge,I suggest very long walk over gravel / rock like discontinued rail yard, woods thorny plants (walking over the thorns obviously).

Maybe you can find some roses stem (for example cutted for garden maintenance),with very long thorns, and walk over them

Congratulations, so nice to see someone enjoying barefooting for the love of it smile.gif

Not really a challenge, but i'd love to see you wear more toe rings, maybe even one on your big toe, i think they are super sexy wink.gif

Ok. Thank you. I note the proposals. I will try to fulfill them all in the coming months: staples, gravel, rings, etc..
I also take note of the questions, I will try to answer them on video.

Hi Cecilia,
I hard to even imagine a challenge for you.
You are the new standard. It used to be Olga Gavva.
Everytime a challenge or test is proposed.
You not only do it, but with more energy and enthusiasum and passion than could
have been imagined.
If I had to pick a harsh, challenging place. It would be an auto junk yard with all
the grease and oil and sharp debris.
Look at my last post under you-tube finds. The gal with the tacks. And let us know
what think of that.
You'd probly just bend them over if you walked them as thick and leathery as your
soles are. What do your soles and heels feel like?
Really like that you included cigarettes in your video updates. It's very intriquing and mysterious and sexy.

Dear Cecilia. Congratulations on your barefoot lifestyle. What a tremendous achievement. You are a true inspiration to everyone. As for challenges, what about safety pins through your soles/callouses? (I have tried this myself having been inspired by "painfreak" on YouTube..got a few looks but surprisingly no comments). How about walking in public with safety pins and/or bottle tops and/or staples?? Or walking on glass with same??

Anyway please keep up the barefoot life!! With sincere best wishes.

I did upload that video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PxiLCvb6sA&feature=related )

She's my girlfriend.

The video is a "personal message" for my friend DG, so I'd better remove it shortly, for this trait of it (being somehow "personal"). Watch it, if you enjoy it, 'til it's still there.

My GF is not "billed as the toughest barefooter in the world": she simply ...

IS.

I've referred to her from time to time in this board, always without being so explicit with clips and words, not to fall into controversy in any manner: I don't want, absolutely. So I'm "somehow sorry" it has been find and posted here.

Nobody in the world but Superman and Supergirl can bend steel tacks with a bare foot, b'ftlvr2008. smile.gif
But there's a girl who's able to let 'em enter into her bare feet muscles without ANY effort (a lot of time and training elapsed from that clip).
Tacks are the training for huge thorns, not to flinch on them, and she can easily manage tacks in the middle of the soft arch and in the big toe, now, and running on sharp stones with them inserted.

Cecilia has ALL OF my respect, as she's getting tougher and tougher (and .. not only for this!, obviously). This said, everybody can watch the poor videos I posted, and make his own idea.

I've thousands. And a lot of them show ... fully impossible things. That I'm used to see since years ago.

[QUOTE=b'ftlvr2008,Jan 6 2012, 07:53 PM] I've thousands. And a lot of them show ... fully impossible things. That I'm used to see since years ago.

Sorry to add: the little flinching that's partially visible in the video has a simple explanation: I was inserting tacks into WOUNDED POINTS. I mean into holes where the same tacks were 'til some moments before, then I extracted 'em and re-inserted.

THAT was the "message for DG".

Because the mere fact that my GF can climb a ladder posing her entire weight on a portion of a single bare foot pierced with 3/4 tacks was.... already known, at that time. (She did it some moments before the clip.)

Flowwer, I have watched the videos of your girlfriend and I was quite impressed. She truly is an amazing barefooter, the thumbtacks were incredible. I would love to see how she handles temperature extremes such as scorching asphalt or snow and ice for extended periods of time. Also I am preparing a board of nails for my wife to test her ability, so I am spacing the nails about a half inch apart to make it more difficult, it is partially done and I have tested it myself and I am not able to stand barefoot on it with my full weight because of the extreme pain, so I am anxious to try it on my wife and I would be curious to see how your girlfriend would handle it also. She appears to have the ability for such a device and she is the only one I believe that could handle the next project I have in mind for my wife, so I will also leave you with this suggestion for her, I have in mind to make a long board, 10 to 12 feet in length, filled with nails in a similar manner and suspend it on each end about 3 or 4 feet above the ground so that in essence she has a bridge of nails that will flex with every movement digging the points of the nails into the flesh if her soles, and to discourage her from dismounting I will cover the ground beneath her with broken glass and have even considered adding lighter fluid to the glass so that there would also be a flame below......do you think the girl with the worlds toughest soles could conquer that or would she finally have to concede to you?

This is all starting to sound a bit strange, fellas.

Re. Cecelia, I'd like to see her go to a nightclub with a bunch of friends and shoot the journey there and back as well as the night out. None of her friends should be barefoot, though, just her.

Perhaps if you do not agree with a post or feel uncomfortable about it you should refrain from joining the thread, or at the very least refrain from criticism as long as there are no violations of the boards ethics, which Paul is very good to monitor. You are in a community of fetishism, and to others, your request would appear "strange", so perhaps people in glass houses should put away their stones.....

This is all starting to sound a bit strange, fellas.

I understand your thought: no need to argue at all.

I just wanna explain: read only if you want it. No problem.

We're NOT into foot torture, at all.
(Nothing with people who are, but we simply are not.)

But we're into BAREFOOTING (in caps) in a total, deep (and happy) manner.
Both of us.
She's the toughtest and she loves it deeply, and I deeply love her barefoot.

So believe me: my GF wouldn't despair for being STOPPED by a ground, a thorn, a situation.
Simply because ... it's impossible.
Completely impossible.
But she would intimately suffer like hell if something could ... put her in troubles, make her flinching, for the fact of not having shoes at all. Maybe in front of "normal" (...) people.

So, the only way to avoid it and achieve what is our common dream, is: having in bare soles her GIFT, and ... TRAIN HARD.
BOTH things.
Because even if you've her gift, Mike (never encountered anyone else having it, we doubt about ELSA of Toes In Action), in a three-weeks-barefoot-vacation-through-mountains-paths (for example) you encounter a lot of painful things that can take you by surprise: huge thorns, shattered bricks, things with a temperature you can't even imagine (try to think to a steel beam beneath the August sun, abandoned to be used as a "bridge" on a stream ... happened!). Or you could find yourself in the need of climb onto very small surfaces and staying on them (happened several times). Or many other things.

It's not a matter of "staying barefoot three weeks through the mountains", understand me. But a matter of DOING IT EXACTLY AS YOU HAD SHOES ON.

Well, my girl can do it.

She often is MORE at ease, on very difficult terrains, than shod people.

This is why she trains. Not "to feel pain".

Never in her life, while "ordinary barefooting", she had to say "can't do it, I'm barefoot".

And the last time she grimaced in pain saying "hard even for me" it was last summer, on a roasted asphalt, after more than one hour. The time before dates back to 2009, if we well remember.
Consider she runs 2/3 times a week on a stony path beside a river, for about an hour per tme. Barefoot of course.

But she has to train.
Hope of having somehow clearified. All of the above is one of the two reasons (the other one is private, just my friend DG knows it) why she doesn't contribute to sites and board like this, if not sporadically.

She simply is by far too tough.

Could sound weird, like it sounded to you.

She wouldn't fall, believe me.
She would suffer pain, obviously.
But hardly you would see something in her face ... I guess you wouldn't.
(I mean I wouldn't: you wouldn't for sure, she absolutely doesn't let anyone see her in trouble when barefoot.)

I say it because we went beyond that: tacks are very useful to train for thorns, but they've to be unexpected.

Let's stop it here, ok? ... this is a board about barefooting, don't wanna offend anyone.
