Most of you will probably remember Fee...the blonde 24/7 barefooter from my town. (if not check out these older posts about Fee ==> Post 1 -- Post 2 -- Post 3)
Unfortunately she moved away last summer, but she came over for a short visit and we went to visit the modern art museum to check out an exibition about street art. She obviously arrived without shoes and has been walking barefoot since days. Her soles were already very dirty and this time even the tops of her feet were slightly grubby. We had quite a long way to go to the museum and Fee walked all the way through the city and over a small crowded festival, through shops, over streets, through a tunnel, on pavements and over a bridge until we reached the museum. Here Fee checked out all the cool (and partly very strange) art while showing her own works of art: Her beautiful bare feet and tough, dirty soles!

Is she barefoot year round? Any chance of her agreeing to a winter shoot?

She walks barefoot from about March to October. When I got to know her she could even walk barefoot at her job, but she has a new job now where she unfortunately has to wear shoes.
I´m sure she`s up for a winter barefoot session but she doesn`t live in my town any longer (she actually doesn´t even live in Germany any longer)....so I´m not sure when I will see her next....maybe only next summer.

I think of all the countries in the world, Germany is the best for barefoot girl sightings. You are so lucky to live there, Hal. The U.S. used to be good, but with the popularity of flip flops, it has gone way downhill. Beach communities in the summer are still pretty good, but that's about it for seeing barefoot females on a regular basis.

Thanks. I agree with flip flops. Even though I like them they probably make less women walk barefoot. On the other hand, there are hardcore barefooter like Fee, Katja, Celeste, etc. who will walk barefoot and never wear flip flops. And I´ve seen other women on the street who will walk barefoot by choice....it is a lifestyle to them and they will not leave the house in summer with any shoes.
It´s cold autumn here at the moment but I can`t wait for spring again.

I really hope that Fee continue to be a barefooters even if she moved away from Germany , and that we can continue to have photos and videos of her fantastic strong and tough feet.

You say she go barefeet from March to October,in the other month what type of shoes she wear : wood thong,flip flop or what else ?
I don't think that a barefooters used to have free feet will use complete closed winter shoes...

Hal, you are my hero...pleeaaase have a feature on Katja again when it's possible. She's the best.

I´m not even sure what shoes she wears...I´ve never seen her in shoes. Probably sneakers or maybe comfortable boots...?
I will have to ask her.

Ask also her to try to reach the barefooting record of Olga Gavva : always barefoot even in the very cold Moscow winter !

Oh don't... the thought of poor Fee having to wear shoes is just unbearable...
