When I was in high school (remember Gerald Ford, Nikolai Brehznev?), I remember this girl who would occaisionally come to class barefoot and show off her filthy soles by crossing her ankles; first one sole, then the other would be showcased, and because she had very high arches, the contrast between the dirty and the still clean parts of her feet were enough to make me forget about whatever else was going on in class at the time.

I have never had any fantasies about girls walking barefoot over me, walking barefoot to hurt themselves, or in bondage, etc., but something about an attractive woman walking or sitting barefoot in places where most are wearing shoes has always turned me on, from childhood continuing until now. That's why I like what what Paul has done here so much, it proves that I am not the only one with these feelings.

What say you?

I wrote a blog on MySpace about some of my favorite memories of meeting barefoot girls. My favorite was a girl I dated for a few months (until she moved away) some years ago. I was walking near Washington Square Park in Greenwich Village (NYC) when I saw this girl, mid-20's, barefoot with black soles and dirty tops. I walked up to her and said "I see we like the same color shoes!". She told me she always went barefoot even though her friends thought she was nuts. Her mom used to be a barefooter and had very tough, calloused soles. She had no problems with us and our coal black feet in their somewhat upscale brownstone apartment. Suzy had very tough feet, but not calloused, just uniformly hard. Neither of us had any problems on hot pavement or city streets. She like to stand on my feet if we were waiting in a line. My tops got filthy because of that. One time I got a small cut on my right foot from a small glass shard that got stuck in her sole. She never knew it was there.

Today you never see barefooters in the city. Maybe someone who slipped off footwear on the grass or before dipping their feet in the fountain but that's about it. Things were very different about 20 years ago :-(

I actually had a pretty good sighting in New York City a few weeks back. Normally, one never sees barefoot women in New York, save the occasional drunk one late at night who can't walk in her heels anymore.

But this one was different. I was walking down University Place from Union Square on a cool but not freezing evening when I saw this hippie girl walking in front of me with long blonde dreadlocks and a reggae-style hat. I almost missed that she was barefoot because it was dark out, she had long jeans on, and she was walking with 3 guys who were dressed rather ordinarily (definitely not hippie).

I just walked behind her for about 4 or 5 blocks down to West 4th until she and her friends turned left and I turned right to meet with a friend at a bar. I got a couple decent looks at some rather dirty soles. She certainly wasn't walking cautiously across the pavement and concrete, so I guess she was used to it. She wasn't carrying shoes either. I think she had a barefoot sandal on (I didn't get a very good look at her toes).

Like I said, you'll occasionally see a girl carrying shoes and walking gingerly, but seeing a girl who goes barefoot normally as this girl appeared to do is extremely rare and I'm glad I got to see it.

It was probably 20 years ago there was this woman who was ALWAYS barefoot. She hung around Washington Square Park. I think she lived on the street. Her feet were always the filthiest. Coal black soles and grimy tops. She once let me feel her soles. I thought they would be as hard as rocks but they were surprisingly soft. She told me her name was Jane. She never had any problems on searing hot pavement, glass, etc. I didn't see her for a while. Then one day I saw her. She had flip flops on and was physically cleaner. She must have gone to rehab or treatment. Looking at her soles I could see that they were calloused from going barefoot so often.

I once saw this other woman who had coal black soles. She was with some other people. I asked if she wanted to hang out but couldn't. I felt her soles and it was no different than touching the concrete. They were so hard! Too bad that today there are no such sightings. Yours was a rare treat!
