Hey, I'm currently on a city break in Milan. Very unexpectedly I had a sighting yesterday. A woman was walking with her friend barefoot in the historic shopping centre. She was holding what looked like very uncomfortable shoes. It was very busy and her feet were very dirty. She was heading towards the main square which would only have resulted in even dirtier feet!

It's refreshing to see women here wearing heels out in the day rather than awful crocs or trainers like they do in the UK. I'm hoping some more women take their shoes off and walk barefoot this weekend!

Does anyone else have much experience of this sort of thing in Milan?
