If I had to rely exclusively on "real life 24/7/365 genuine female barefooters" to produce material for Barefoot Urban Girls.. the site would simply not exist (well, I am pretty sure that someone here would have been very happy about that! ).
There is a widespread misbelief about "hired models on barefooting paysites" to debunk.
Myself, Hal, Pavel do not pay modelling fees to convince to walk barefoot in the streets women who would never do that, even less so for free. Except for barefooting comfortably on very harsh terrains and/or blazing hot surfaces for a long time (there is just an extremely tiny minority of women in the "civilized" world who are able to do that), plenty of "normal" women can walk barefoot in city streets in "ordinary conditions" for hours without any difficulty. I can be 100% sure about that because most of the girls that I have shot for Barefoot Urban Girls in over 20 years can be labelled as attractive "normal" women.
A major barrier to recruiting new talent for barefooting-themed paysites is the "socio-cultural stigma" attached to barefooting in public in the "civilized" world. Most women are afraid of appearing gross, uncharming, etc. to the average male or female observer if they walk barefoot in the city with filthy soles.
Another major barrier is the (fully understandable) reluctance of many women to authorise the publication on the web of pictures and videos that portray them in such a "socio-culturally improper" activity.
Add dirty feet close-ups, full awareness that the pictures and videos are clearly intended to serve as jerk-off material for guys, and the fact that a part of that stuff will stay on the web FOREVER, no matter if you have become, say, Prime Minister.. well, you have a truly unsavory mix to digest for most ladies.
The modelling fees that we "barefooting porn producers" pay to models are mostly an incentive to ignore that very socio-cultural stigma, and to win that very reluctance.

Thank you for clarifying the situation with paid models. I think that you make an excellent point that even if they are paid, models are taking a risk of facing scorn from mainstream society. We should always appreciate and respect these models who walk barefoot outdoors for our enjoyment, for only a fairly modest financial benefit to themselves.

Indeed.. and even with the incentive/reward of the modelling fee, it takes an extremely bright and open mind to model for a site like Barefoot Urban Girls.
Educated women are more likely to have a brilliant and open mind: I would say that over 80% of BUG models earned a university degree.
You should also pay particular attention to the fact that life goes on after a woman stops posing for sites like BUG.
I have shot 100-plus women for the site; ages at the time of shooting range from 19 to mid-40s, which means that some former BUG models are now in their late 50s.
You might find it interesting to know what former BUG models are doing now.
We have some executives, some university professors and researchers, some entrepreneurs (running restaurants & cafes, shops, and even a media production company!), several professionals (lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, veterinarians, personal coaches, psychologists, etc.), and several artists (photographers, painters, theatre actresses, film makers, musicians, stylists, etc.).
When I write that BUG models are "normal" women, I certainly do not mean that they are "ordinary" women!

It would also be great if you could share some information about the cities where they live.

Unfortunately I cannot share such information referred to any specific model for privacy safeguard reasons.
But remaining on an aggregate level, I can inform you that, to my knowledge:
1) No model featured on BUG to date was born, or ever lived, in Rovigo province. Do not be upset about that: my own province, Mantova, has yielded no BUG model at all.
2) Most of the models featured on BUG to date were born, or used to live/are currently living, in the provinces of (in decreasing order of importance) Venice, Vicenza, Treviso, Padova, Verona.

At least y’all got plenty of models in your country. I don’t know of a single barefooting model where I live
