Not sure how the weather is where you are but it finally looks as though summer is here in the UK. I've personally had no sightings so far this year and have had to make do with flip flops. This seems to be the best we can hope for in the UK and I always end up being disappointed throughout the year.

As Ive said before, if you want to experience it at close quarters hire an escort, as I did recently, and get her to go barefoot. The one I hired did a gig barefoot for me a couple of weeks ago.
