Haven’t seen that one yet. But interesting title, I find summer to be the best time to be barefoot, especially when it’s too hot for me to wear shoes

Through the years, I started developing my personal rules to distinguish real barefooters from fakes ... or, if not fakes, at least "people who dream to be barefooters".

One of those golden rules is: who asserts that summer is the best season for barefooting, is:
- someone who lives at a veeery high latitude
- NOT a real barefooter.

One of the two.

Ana ... goes barefoot for real, at least often (not always I guess: the skin of her bare soles tells it)..
But, curiously, she is still an ... amateur, somehow, imho.
This is probably due to many of her peculiarities.
The most important one is that she is so much vulnerabile in her soles: she has not ... "the gift" of naked soles natural toughness (but almost nobody has!).
Another reason could be that she is so ... easy, light, in her living: she does it, but she doesn't "studies" it. I guess that, with the same lightness she begun goin' barefoot, one day she will stop. Naturally. She's wonderful, really wonderful, under this aspect.

Ok, who knows, and who cares: she's a beautiful and nice girl, she is a real barefooter, at least in the terms she goes barefoot.
And she ... discovered the golden rule: summer is SO HARD, so really really hard, for barefooters, because of the existence of .. asphalts (let's not talk about manholes, Ana is not ready not even to imagine them)!
Maybe she still doesn't know "how much that rule is true": if, instead of barefootin' in Hungary, she would try the Florence asphalt at noon on a July day, she would probably face the first defeat of her career as a barefooter. That is: the need for shoes, no possibility to remain barefoot any more. Simply not tough enough.
