Any news from her?

Since her appearance, so many years ago, I used to guess she was among the top 4-5 real barefooters ever seen. I did it (guessing, I mean) only by her pictures, only watching the structure of her bare soles, as we had no challenging clips of her, at the time.

Now she appears again with a clip where she approaches thorns with a self confidence that I’ve rarely seen.

It would be very very interesting, to me, to really understand the barefoot toughness of this wonderful woman, this time.

Cross my fingers she didn’t disappear again.

I am sorry she hasn't answered your e-mails. All I know is she's busy with lots of things, she's an artist, an sculptor and also has other jobs. She was ready to put her soles through all kind of challenges, ordeals and endurance tests. I will tell her you wrote her by e-mail, hope that helps.

• Bastinado (having her soles whipped)
• Putting cigarettes out on her soles
• Having her soles oiled and roasted with a hairdryer
• Walking barefoot on broken glass
• Walking barefoot on sharp gravel, rocks, rubble, thorns
