Dear all.. in these hours my heart is in awe for Venice (Italy) and its population.
An exceptional high tide (187 cm, over six feet, the highest since 1966) and winds up to 100 kph caused terrible damage to the city yesterday night.
You can grasp the severity of the catastrophe by watching these videos:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKTm53YdamQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g0KBqkdWvU

Besides being unique in its beauty, Venice has hosted countless shootings for BAREFOOT URBAN GIRLS.
Many Barefoot Urban Girls of the past still live, or used to live, in Venice, and I love Venice as much as I love my hometown.

I hope that everything will be done to bring relief to the population of the city, and to restore the beauty of this one-of-a-kind city to its former glory.

RISE UP, VENICE!!!

Yeah, itīs a tragedy. Floods in Italy and in Britain, bush fires in Australia... Isnīt the planet trying to tell us something we should listen to a bit more closely that we are used to?

Best of luck to all those folks who have been affected. Hope they manage to get their life back as soon as possible....

Thanks for the pics. Sexy girls and a wondreful city.

Thank you very much for caring, bfwatcher.
I have managed to get news (through direct or indirect contacts) about most of the former Barefoot Urban Girls who still live in Venice.
Luckily none of them suffered damage, as none of them lives on the ground floor.
Yeah, the planet is deffo telling us that it is fed up with our insane behaviour.. irrespective of what that sad cunt in Washington thinks.

Yes, I followed the sad news about Venice in the last days. I hope the damages caused can be repaired quickly -- glad to hear none of your models suffered any losses.
I'm afraid this won't be last time we'll be hearing about floods and storms in Venice (or other places). A friend just sent me insane videos from South Africa (where I lived in my youth) --- there the weather/climate seems to have turned totally crazy in the last decade as well.

Thank you for caring, mate. Sadly the maximum tide forecast for tomorrow is 160 cm.. which means that the entire city will be flooded again.
And the weather forecast for the next 7 days is.. rain, rain, nothing but fucking rain.
I am afraid that Venice and its brave inhabitants are fucked up sad.gif
As for extreme weather conditions.. they are becoming more and more frequent also in areas like Italy, where they used to be exceptional.
Yet that moron in Washington says that global warming is fake news.. mad.gif

Very sad to see this, feetosopher. The Venice floods haven't been covered widely in US news media, at least that I've seen, so I'm glad you shared it here. Seems like our media is mostly occupied with the usual political stuff.

Thank you for caring, Zane. What you have written is rather upsetting. I mean, Venice is part of the world's heritage.. sad.gif

I agree. In my opinion, it warrants more attention than the latest arguments in Washington DC. sad.gif

Very sad to hear. One of my favourite places on Earth. Russian news are also mostly silent about the matters (at least from what I get). And good to hear your friends and models are safe, Feetosopher.

The city is now in the process of estimating damage.. which appears to be huge.. sad.gif
The only "positive" news are that no exceptional high tides are forecasted for the next days.

The floods in Venice were covered here widely on the news and in every newspaper (mainly title page) for the last couple of days.
The weather has also been pretty insane in parts of Austria, by what I've heard ---with heavy snowfall and people being cut off by avalanches sad.gif

Yeah mate, I think that floods in Venice were extensively covered by media in most Western Europe.
Also in the Italian part of Tirol there has been heavy snowfall, and a train was hit by an avalanche (luckily none of the riders was injured).
