I was very impressed with the high number of barefoot singers in this year's competition, which included two of this years singers, a backing singer and dancer for another act and yet another dancer for another act (though I suspect that she was wearing hoses). We also saw last year's winner doing a medley, performing barefoot again.

Also, is it a coincidence that three of Eurovision's winners have been barefoot?

Is female barefooting going mainstream?
I'd be curious to know whether all these barefoot singers actually walk barefoot in everyday life..
For what I know, Sandie Shaw (the 1967 barefoot winner) was not at all an urban barefooter in real life.. performing barefooted was just a trick to get attention.
This said, all these girls are gorgeous but.. coming to music, I still prefer Killing Joke!!!
