"Tondero" is a typical folk dance from Piura, on the northern coast of Peru.
See Luz Eline dancing Tondero in her latest Diary update http://www.city-feet.com/board/3351/1/20/list She enjoys being barefoot as much as she enjoys to dance. Great combination, isn't it? Enjoy! -------------------- Regards

Sadly, the photos don't focus on her too well!
I've heard that all female Peruvian dancers dance barefoot, is this true? |

There's a shorter version of the video here on FB: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=102002...&type=2&theater Not all female Peruvian dancers dance barefoot, it depends on the dance, and we have LOTS of different dances here. -------------------- Regards
