Dear Cityfeeters,

I'm a 25 y/o girl who went home barefoot from a party the last week and my husband had the luck to make a few pics of my very dirty feetsies smile.gif

Nice photo's
So, are you a barefooter? Your feet look like they might be tough and calloused.
Hope to see more posts.

Thank you smile.gif

No 24/7 yet, but I do barefooting definitely much more than before. I like the feeling of my feet get dirrrty smile.gif So I hope we can do some photosets of mudwalking soon with the autumn rains smile.gif

Unfortunately, the callouses are because of my summer shoes... shoes kill feet smile.gif

I like the "not 24/7 yet" part. You have a great attitude smile.gif
And very attractive feet. Like how they are slightly wide (signs of a barefooter)

Easy way to eleminate those shoes callouses,,don't wear any.

What do think of Nastya, Cecilia and Polina?

If you like dirrty soles,, how about parking lot pics, sorta like Polina's "street" set?

And what can you walk on barefoot?

I can walk barefoot on everything even sometimes it hurts a lot smile.gif I prefer soft touches like mud or soil. But, telling the truth, I was very rarely at parking lots. I've been going barefoot mostly on city streets. And of course, public transports smile.gif

I saw the names of these women you said somewhere in this forum but I haven't seen their pictures yet... I think they also haven't seen mine smile.gif

And yes, my feet are pretty wide, it's not easy for me to find really comfortable shoes smile.gif But I think it's mostly about genetics. Do you think they should be even wider if I walk barefoot more often? smile.gif

Thanks for the reply.

You can walk barefoot on anything. smile.gif Such as what? What can walk on effortlessly and what still hurts? ( You'll find the uncomfortable list will get smaller as your feet adjust more). wink.gif

Streets and public transports sounds very interesting. Sounds like you already have the right attitude and passion for barefooting. rolleyes.gif

I bet your soles get very dirty and black sometimes. You should take a camera with and capture some of your barefoot lifestyle moments and show how dirty they get.

Nastya (Deiniris), Cecilia and Polina all have diaries (go to the City-Feet home page and you
can open their diary updates (photo's and video's). They all get nice black soles and show how they walk on different things like dirty streets, gravel, broken glass and even put out cigarettes barefoot)

I don't think they'll get any wider. Just stronger ,healthier and more inured.
Better than being confined in footware that isn't comfortable.
As I heard once," shoes are an accessory not a neccessity"

Where are you from? (Country or area)

Oh, cigarettes are a big no-no for me yet... My husband sometimes tries to make fun, dropping a burning cigarette in front of me and ask me to crush it, expecting I had forgot I'm barefoot smile.gif Hot asphalt on summer days also torments the hell out of my soles.

Insteads of searching for such extreme circumstances, I find it more challenging to go more long-time walks, to spend as much time barefoot (outside of my home) as I can. I can't see the reason of making myself hurt, as barefooting is pleasant and it should stay this way for me smile.gif

Next time I'm walking shoeless we'll surely make some new photos, of course smile.gif

It should be enjoyable, and the long endurance is very impressive. wink.gif

How long, at any one time, have you gone barefoot?
All day, all week? Shopping and as many places as you could.

The barefoot sandles are nice. I dated a girl once who'd keep lounging pants in her purse so she put them on over her shorts so she could in stores barefoot rather than just having a pair of flip-flops handy.
Check out some of my You-Tube posts in "To walk or not to walk"which include barefoot shopping. (ie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL_W91BN60E&feature=plcp )

Nothing sexy about pain or discomfort. To demonstrate ability is cool though.
Especially that perfect contrast of soft and feminine and tough that get's people going..Wow

You would really blow his mind if someday you actually did step on it.
Only when you could do it effortlessly.
Hot asphalt is rough for anybody. Because the heat effects even the non toughened area's.

How are you on stones and gravel?

Can't wait to see the photo's or maybe video. (You could get a diary here..maybe).

The longest, it was no more than almost 2 days at a party, yet it wasn't city environment but nature. It was a great sensual experience and for my late surprise, after a few hours I wasn't such aware of my feet like before, I didn't always watch where to step, even there were some puddles I stepped in, and luckily I didn't hurt my feet too (except stepping in some nettles), so it seemed I just forgot I hadn't shoes on. Especially after a few drinks smile.gif

But I think it would be pretty hard for me to do it in longer intervals as I must go to work and so on. I'm not afraid of unknown people in the public transport but I'm not sure the office mates could understand it... maybe a bit later? I think permanent barefooting demands a completely new lifestyle and connections...

Barefoot sandals, well, I just knew them as "foot jewels". Then I had them on for the first time when those photos were made and it seemed that people hadn't noticed at all I'm barefoot. There's a certain type of conventional sandals which has the straps the same way, so I think they really thought I wear one of these (if they thought anything at all smile.gif )

I'm sending you a photo here that was made a few weeks before. I became muddy up to my calves the later part of that road but unfortunately no photo about that...

Now your feet looks dirtier, that's good, keep walking barefoot!
