I was thinking more like you give her a small camera and she takes photos of where she is, what she's wearing and maybe the bottoms of her feet every hour. Maybe she can get a friend to photograph her a couple of times if a friend is around. But more like an informal diary entry that just shows how/where she is going on bare feet (or not) over the course of a day. This is something that would take only occasional/minimal time and effort.
