Really interesting, thank you!
I found a blog too http://barefootemma.blogspot.com Why? I'm an Art Student and am concerning myself with body and performance art. By walking barefoot (indefinitely) I am exploring endurance and testing the physical limits of my body. I will be walking barefoot everywhere expect for the places where it is unacceptable. To be prepared for instances like these I will always have a pair of shoes available. Where've your shoes gone? Woman in charity shop: "Where've your shoes gone?" Me: "I don't wear shoes" W: puzzled look on face M: "I've been wearing no shoes for 2 weeks for a project I'm doing, I'm a fine art student" W: "What are you doing?" M: "I'm testing the physical limits of my body so I've taken my shoes away" W: "I'm going to call the woman upstairs and tell her about it. She might understand what you're doing" I sheepishly walk away telling her "No please don't do that I don't want to talk to her" in the most polite way I can. Lady appears from a staff door just as I leave the shop. I hear the woman at counter start to explain my barefootness as I am walking away. So bizarre! -------------------- Regards

Why?
Because her project is over or,, is she giving into the social pressure? why can't some people just let these girls live their life as they wish, and stop being so barefoot-phobic. It's natural, down to earth and sentual if not just plain sexy. Can't understand people that think everybody has to live as they do, and if they don't, they're wrong. |

It sounds as though she enjoyed the project for the time it was running until near the end when the weather grew a lot colder. Which is why autumn is never the best time to start barefooting. |

Here's a video I just found on YouTube.
A couple present day '70's hippie musician chics that are barefoot on all different surfaces and places. From being around a barn, to running around a field with cows (and cow pies) to climbing trees and a gravel road. And in the 2nd video they go in town on a train and to a stable, again always barefoot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNzBWoJrfOE&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUzRAAQj1PE&NR=1 enjoy |

b'ftlvr2008 : very nice videos,thanks !
Of sure the 2 girls make the videos barefeet, often walking on "not easy" surface. And,watching how they do that, they seems quite used to walk barefeet...I will try to found someting more about the two girls tomorrow... |

That would be great Clipper,
That's what I thought also. I watched them over and over and they don't hestitate walking anywhere. What I think is really sexy, it's not just a barefoot video, it's real girls with a barefoot life style. I agree they seem like real barefooters. From how easy they walk everywhere to, if you noticed, a shot in the 2nd video where she's harnessing up the horse. The one girl has wide feet with space between her toes, a sign of a barefooter. I tried finding something more about them, but no luck. The YouTube site is from the record label. I love to find their site. |

In the videos they are talking about their music, how they get inspired, their friendship - if I remember correctly, there is no comment about being barefeet.

Tuo's Facebook and MySpace links are noted by their symbols on the page (the URL I posted). Barfuss is Barefoot in German. |
