Hi folks.

I want to share with you this video, only as en element to discuss, if you want, and not as "something to really see", considering its poor quality:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWGbLWMtd2w

As someone of you could have realized, I'm deeply into real and hardcore barefooting, like most of you. smile.gif
But I think my journey is somehow anomalous: I've not been born with this feeling and then tried to find a barefoot girl as a partner. Instead, I had not interest in this matter when, several years ago, a barefoot girl appeared in my life.

I don't enter into details ... someone of you knows me by mail and knows how the story went: why I'm not with her now, and/but why we can't live without keeping in touch (we really are not able to, it seems).

However, what I want to share with the board is the mere knowledge of the ... existance of her. I've referred to her sometimes in my posts, but someone could - rightly - think to fantasies. So I've choose one video with the ... most impossible thing she usually does. Over the years we invented ANY KIND of training routines, endurance tests, proof of strenghts, conditioning exercises ... but honestly the capability to run barefoot over sharp stones where normal people wobble, well, it always appear to me as the most incredible of things.
And I've choosen an old video she filmed by herself, with the cell phone ... the choice is not a casualty, so please pardon me the poor quality.

Just to precise: the run lasts for abut half an hour ... but the cell phone memory didn't. smile.gif And she was already HURT (not cut, but deeply bruised) in a foot. She didn't consider the hurt, instead it was worse than we thought and it took her by surprise: this is the reason why she had to stop at about 1:15 ... she was stunned and surprised by pain, that's a concept usually non-existent, talking about her barefooting. However, she managed to regroup and go further, running for a "normal" routine.

Well ... I just wanted to share my personal journey through barefooting.
It's ... a lucky one, but also an unlucky one. smile.gif Because anyone else is so incredibly, absolutely far, from her (even the STRONGEST barefooter we met or vwe've seen on the www) ... that I can't avoid the comparison.

And any try I've done in my life to ... fall in love with a non-barefoot girl, failed in front of her. She's a force of nature, and ANY (really: ANY) thing is possible to her, when barefoot. And the situations when I saw her shaken (4? ... 5? ... not more, in YEARS of HARDCORE barefooting) or really beaten (just one, and it will burn inside both of us forever I think) even tend to bring us more near under this aspect, if possible.

Bye to everyone. smile.gif

It's so sad that, having found the perfect girl, a true, hardcore barefooter...you cannot be with her.

Sometimes life is like that. You never find what you're looking for...or you find it when it's too late... maybe you found it and never realized it until you lost it...or you find it, but cannot have it...

That's life my friend, just be happy to know that she exists, she's for real and that you had her for some time.

Thanks for sharing this video and the story with it.

Peace

My wife and I took a trip to the mountains this past weekend, I have been trying to get away all winter but this was our first opportunity. I only allowed her to bring a very thin pair of flip flops which she could only wear when we went in a restaurant that would not allow bare feet. Unfortunately most of the weekend the weather was warm, however Friday turned out to be wonderfully cold, especially Friday evening when the temperature dipped down below 40 degrees F, so I thought that would be the perfect time for a barefoot stroll through town, several miles to the other end of town where we boarded a sky tram that carried us up the mountain several more miles away from her flip flops into a much higher and colder elevation, to a resort area on top of the mountain where we road a skylift even further up the mountain to the top. Her dirty bare feet dangled from the lift and were literally freezing, but there was absolutely nothing she could do but endure. Her soft, filthy soles felt like smooth leather left in the freezer. We were the only ones at the top of the mountain and the viewing area was covered with those sharp, tiny gravels that stick in your feet when you walk. I left her while I walked to the restroom ( it was too far for her to walk over the sharp gravels), there was a nice heater in the restroom that I used to warm up, even though I was dressed warm WITH MY SHOES ON, I was freezing. We stayed for some time after I came back, but finally she had to head back. Even after we went back down the mountain she still had to make her way back through town to the cabin, in the cold and dark, walking through more gravels and broken glass all along the way. But even so, we still made stops at different shops along the way. When we finally made it back we had been gone for nearly 4 hours and had walked so much that my feet hurt, even with arch supports. I really enjoyed snuggling up to her cold, black soles back at the cabin.

What your wife did is amazing! She really loves you a lot to do so, lucky you! Did you hear any comments of the people about her being barefoot?

Do you have pics of this barefoot adventure?

Thanks for sharing these experience, please give my regards and admiration to your wife.

I will share a true story with you guys about one of my wifes barefoot travels. When my wife was a little younger ( 20's ) she would go barefoot constantly, she could walk on anything. One year we went on a trip to Sea World about a 3 hour drive we left pretty early in the morning we get there she gets out of the car and says " I forgot my shoes". Well this place didn't allow barefeet in the park but my wife always wears bellbottom jeans (And she still does ) and she was able to hide her feet when we went in through the gate and when we were around park employees. We were in that park for probably 10 hours and she was barefoot the whole time. Her feet were totally black. Even the top was extremely dirty because there would be places in the park where the asphault was wet and when her jeans got wet it rubbed black dirt from the park on the top of her feet. I have some pictures but they were before the days of digital cameras, maybe I will scan someday and post a few for you guys.

Thanks for sharing! It would be great if you could scan the pics. Is your wife still a barefooter? How tough her soles are?

Yes, DG we did get some comments from people asking if her feet were cold, but we had even more stares and smiles from passers-by. My wife really seemed to enjoy the looks from strangers admiring her bare feet and fortitude. Unfortunately, I did not take photos, for me it seems to distract from the pleasure of the moment although I am thankful for others who can focus on photography in similar situations. I think it would be different for someone modeling for me, but what she was doing was for my pleasure and not using a camera makes it seem more intimate to me, does that make sense?

It makes sense, taking pics distracts from enjoying the moment.

What did your wife answer to people asking if her feet were cold?

Yes, she would tell them "not really" although they were freezing. I actually just got back from spending the afternoon with her. The weather here has turned quite cold, around 2 degrees C, with snow off and on and high wind chill, so I thought I would take advantage of the wonderful weather to enjoy my favorite activity. I called my wife and told her to get ready we were going to have a barefoot afternoon. I picked her up in the car and we went shopping for a while and then I took her for a walk around our local park, about a mile and a half. It took about 40 minutes to walk the distance and there were very few other walkers although we did notice several people who passed in cars pointing at her bare feet. She even stopped to play in the water fountain for a while for me. Her feet were frozen by the time we got back to the car and I really wanted to go another round but it was getting late, we had already been out for 3 1/2 hours and she told me we could go out again later, it would probably be colder.
