has anybody seen the movie 'Wolf Creek'?

it's a shocker to me that it was a true event in Auastralia, but it had good shots of one girl running away in her barefeet.

still, I'm shocked of how things turned out in the end.

Wolf Creek interview with Kestie Morassi

Q. As well as the emotional intensity of your role there’s a great deal of physical stuff you go through. How hard was that?

Kestie Morassi:“Well, because it was a very low budget film there was a morning where I was doing what you might call ‘action scenes’, running through the fog to get away from the Mick’s mining camp. And because it was so early in the morning, and we had to shoot before the light went away, there wasn’t any time to tape up my feet. So I was running barefoot through the scrub, and because it was cold my feet were really, really numb. I didn’t realise the millions and millions of prickles that were in my feet until they thawed out in the middle of the afternoon. That was pretty full on, being in the make up bus, screaming, getting prickles pulled out of my feet.”

Cassandra Magrath interview.

http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/features.php?id=189

BD: Liz is a strong character and the film looks incredibly physical. How exhausting was the shoot for you?

CM: I loved Liz, she didn’t take shit from anyone. But I am so pathetic when it comes to exercise – I’ve been to the gym twice in my life and both times I simply ended up in the pool. It’s really a combination of clever editing and acting scared really gets your breathing going. So I would dash around for a few minutes and stop, then dash around for another few minutes and stop but when it’s all put together, it looks like I’m some sort of athlete. Now, Kestie – SHE really was put through the wringer, running barefoot through the bush like she did! Tore her feet up – she was pulling thorns and needles out of her feet for days. I DID end up with the most amazing bruises though. I wish I had taken pictures as I was one solid bruise from the tops of my thighs down to about mid-shin.

Lets face it, cute girls running around in their bare feet is the only redeeming thing about the movie.

too bad she couldn't run barefoot through a marsh with ankle deep mud...

Most of the women in a swamp movies shoiw them wearing boots are sneakers. Never barefeet?

Wow, great, thanks a lot Cicero!

can anybody get pics?

I NEED to watch this movie :-)

Wouldn't it be great if City Feet would make something in the like, with girls running barefoot through the scrub and getting lots of prickers in her soles????

I am sure there must be at least one girl in CF brave enough to dare doing so!!!

Any one supports this idea???

DG

"there wasn’t any time to tape up my feet"

Does this suggest that in other shoots of this film when time is not a constraint, she did have her feet taped up?

Is it common to have such kind of thing for barefoot in films?
