Of course the list is so big that includes even the brief, freeze frame bonus examples. I would like to ask for a movie feet scene discussion's revival since each member could suggest and comment about their favorite scenes.

Crocodile Dundee, the end, when Linda Kozlowski takes off her shoes and runs through Manhattan and into the subway barefoot. She's running fast, but you can see dirty soles as she runs. That's definitely one of the best dirty feet scenes in the movies that I can think of.

Karen Allen is barefoot for a lot of Raiders of the Lost Ark, too, but doesn't really end up with dirty feet since she's in the desert.

That's just 2 off the top of my head.

The Butcher's Wife. Demi Moore is barefoot throughout almost the whole movie. There's shots of her dirty soles.

Inside Daisy Clover. Natalie Wood barefoot in a few scenes. During the initial credits she wanders barefoot in the streets at the neighborhood she lives. She put shoes later after cleaning her feet quickly with her hands. She is the tomboy type that I like. Later she turns into a celebrity and she loses that trait. Other scenes include her at the beach sitting on the sand and taking her shoes off. A few scenes with her barefoot in her nightgown.

Cul de Sac - Françoise Dorleac, Catherine Deneuve's older sister who died shortly after doing this movies, spends plenty of times barefoot in this movie. She is an amoral girl with a sexual appetite who gladly cheats and emasculates her husband, dressing him like a woman.

Repulsion - Catherine Deneuve barefoot in every indoor scene. Almost the whole movie takes place in her house. The movie is black and white but we can notice her black soles in some scenes.

The Million Dollars Hotel - I think everybody knows this gem.

Teenage Hitchhiker - Not much. The hitchhikers don't go barefoot but in sandals. One scenes the prettiest one takes off hers and her sole is a bit dirty. She puts her foot right in the camera because she is laying in a car while a guy tries to have sex with her. She encourages him and so does her friend and in the end he is exhausted. Silly scene and silly movie.

Thanks for the list,but in this endless title list,most of them are barefoot scenes of only few seconds.

We have to select a group of them where the barefeet scenes are very frequent (at least the 25% of the film).

- The Butcher’s Wife : Demi Moore barefeet in the butcher shop and also on the city road

- Beyond Rangoon 1995 : Patricia Arquette barefeet on the Burma forest/village

- Et Dieu... créa la femme : Brigitte Bardot,the legend of barefooting actress

- Stick it 2006 : girls gymnastics team,train always barefeet

- The Return of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4) 1994 : horror,a very young Renee Zellweger walk/run barefeet over woods and field roads for escape...

For those who like martial arts

- Angel Fist 1993 : woman karate turnament,obviously barefeet

- Pushed to the Limit 1992 : about the same of the Angel Fist

Yeah, the list is enormous and some of the examples are minimal scenes which you can't even see the feet right.


That is why I suggested explained examples from the members.

Found this documentary, called Revolution. It's from 1968 and depicts the hippies of San Francisco. Lots of great bf hippy women throughout.

Is it just me, or is the woman at approximately 20:00 wearing barefoot sandals? Lots of bare feet, but barefoot sandals stand out. You almost never see women wearing them. I like them so much more than bare feet because you can tell it was a conscious effort to go barefoot and dress up their bare feet.
