The image quality is low but is a 1982 film... The protagonist is Pia Zadora, here young, that play the role of a quite bad and poor girls. Is barefeet very often, and she walk on a country side zone, near a silver mine : rocks, gravel and harsh rural surface... I imagine that douring the making of the film she really play the scenes barefeet,on that surface. Normally during the filming of a movie the scenes are repeated many times,so probably she walked barefeet very much...and watching the film she seem to walk on that ground without any problem.... |

She went barefoot all the time, over and over, on such mean surfaces?
Amazing! Thanks for sharing these pictures. There should be a remake of this movie, don't you think? -------------------- Regards

If they do a remake, I wouldn't be surprised that the main character wears shoes :-( For some reason barefooters have no presence at all in mainstream movies, books or TV series, it's as if there were some kind of ban to barefooters, or discrimination against them. Unless you cound "Tangled" or "The little mermaid" :-) -------------------- Regards

Yeah, that's very unfortunate. It seems the only fields where being barefoot is still accepted/mandates are gymnastics/artistic gymnastics and modern/contemporary dance (So You think you can dance show at Fox) |
