Polina,
now I write a sentence you'll probably won't believe, at least not completely: you're building E-X-T-R-E-M-E barefooting capabilities. You're growing as ONE OF THE TOUGHEST. Believe me if you can: I share my life with the toughest one of all and I'm in deep love with her, so I don't need to anyhow flatter you! Remember Polina: about ... genetic, there are two ways to build the toughness to go barefoot through the world. One is very very very very rare. I mean: your bare soles can build callousity, or not. If you build callousity, you can move away pain. But when pain however appears, it shakes you deeply, it takes you by surprise and at that time it's too much for you! That's the reason why you see calloused and "tough" barefooters suddenly beginning to walk as they're amateurs, barely able to stand, on some grounds. Otherwise, you can build toughness BY FEELING, learning to "let the world enter in your soles" (really) and building strengths from this sensation (!). THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE DOING! Before leaving to Spain, you made a very rare thing, that A FEW BAREFOOTERS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD (I ... repeat it because it's important: a-few-in-the-world!, as www doesn't lie!) would have been able to do. I'd be happy to exchange with you experiences and, why not, suggestions: my girl is on the same path, but ... several years ahead. But maybe anyone here would love to privately talk with you, so I don't want to be anyhow intrusive. However, if you want, write me to "flowwer (at) libero.it". Keep 'em bare!: you already are one of the toughest around here! You probably don't know how far you could go, in the happiness of feeling yourself BAREFOOT AND FREE: self-confident to leave home unshod WHEN YOU WANT IT, feeling yourself completely unstoppable. A hug. |
