Hi guys, this is Cecilia talking from Madrid, I am 25 years old and it's been three weeks ago that I decided to walk barefoot through life.

To celebrate it I answer the questions you have asked to me in the Forum.

Well, it's difficult to explain why I decided walking barefoot in the street, doing my day to day life. I remember when I was a little child my mom always preached because I walked barefoot at home as she thought I was going to get a cold or any kind of disease.

When I started living on my own I decided to start again that which seemed so comfortable when a child and I was barefoot at home all the time, so little by little I began taking my shoes off in any place and three weeks ago I said myself "Why not doing this all the time?" And it's great.

To que question whether I will wear shoes again or not, well I have to answer yes, but it's not that I am going to wear them in the street for protection, it's that shoes are a fetish to me, I will wear them only in particular times, just for a short while but not for my regular life.

Along these two weeks I've noticed that mi feet have become rougher and harder overall.

When people stares at me in the street it's very funny to me, people usually say nothing but they sometimes ask and if its an stranger I use to give a short answer, just saying I am comfortable and that's all. In case it's an acquaintance of mine I explain it's a way of life, about the comfort and sensations one feels.

Well, there are pavements that are difficult to think about but from the very first moment I pondered going barefoot in the street I gave up fear which I think it's what makes many people not to decide going barefoot in the street. It's hard at the moment to endure certain temperatures of the pavement, but you just don't think about such temperature and keep on walking, and I think I am managing that very well, I even think that coarse pavements improve blood circulation in my feet so I have no problems a all with this kind of things.

Walking barefoot in the street gives you an amazing sensation of freedom and to me, I don't know if it's something psychological but it gives me the impression that I enjoy much more the places I go by, feeling the textures of the ground is something incredible.

As you walk barefoot in the street it's unavoidable not to get your feet dirty but it's not something that bothers me, it could even be said that on the contrary, it gives you a look of tough woman, which is attractive to me to say it in a way.

I would actually recommend people to walk barefoot, in fact I've done so with a friend of mine, who says she's going to dare trying it, I don't know if it's true or not. But the sensations of walking barefoot, I always recommend them.

When I walk barefoot in the street I like being observed and I feel well going barefoot, I feel sexy, if not I wouldn't walk barefoot, I think it's far more attractive a girl who goes barefoot than girls who now weare the so called "manoletinas" that are trendy, which are a think sole but that don't allow your feet to be seen.

I am really willing to taking pictures of the soles of my feet to see how they progress in hardness and in texture, which is very interesting to me, seeing how they are getting used to different pavements and change little by little.

I think walking barefoot in the street is beneficial for my health, I used to wear high heels all the time, non shorter than 10 cm (4 inches) and my ankles were always swollen, since I began walking barefoot my ankles are not swollen anymore and I feel well, the soles of my feet don't hurt, my calf muscles don't hurt and I feel really well and fit.

If any people would ask me about how I could help her start going barefoot in the street I could only say a thing, and it's "Don't be afraid of".
