For several years now the final episode of each shoot has been a foot show. I'm not a great fan of these for two reasons:
- it dispels the 'suspension of disbelief' that we're witnessing a real barefoot episode and becomes a show with the model complicit in what's really going on

- it means we lose the best shots where the model is ACTUALLY DONG STUFF rather than posing on a bench or whatever. I MUCH prefer to see shoots where the model is getting involved in doing things like a railway or metro journey or shopping or going to the pub (PLEASE) or concert etc.

Thus, to me, given that each shoot is an average of four episodes long I only ever bother opening three of them meaning that 25% of my monthly fee is wasted.

Please can we make the foot show an occasional rather than an every time thing?

Also be nice to see models doing stuff more like driving and filling up with fuel or a barefoot mother shoot when she goes to pick up her child barefoot and chats to the other mothers at the school gates etc etc.

I completely agree with this. The less things seem intentionally posed and the more they show activity that happens to be done barefoot, the better.

I cannot agree more! The final episode really is too artificial. On the other hand, I must admit that I like watching it too as it gives me a good idea what a particular girl´s feet really look like. When I watch again the pravious updates, it´s much easier to imagine what´s going on. :-)
The way out? I´m a cold weather barfooting fan and that might be the reason why I´d prefer seeing a girl sit down on a bench to get some rest from the cold. She could warm the toes in her hand or rub one foot against the other. I guess you know what I mean.
As for the list of activities, all the suggestions mentioned so far are cool. Apart from that, the models could also rake autumn leaves in the garden or sweep snow from the pavement. A barefoot girl washing a car (both in summer and autumn) would be a treat as well.
And above all, don´t forget the dialogue. It´s always nice to hear the girls talking to the camera person or to each other. Can you think of a better incentive to learn some Russian? :-)

I agree as well. Although I suspect foot shows may have started for the final segment as some subscribers may have wanted more close ups of the girls' feet, especially in the dirtiest segment (the final segment).

Maybe there could be a compromise - instead of the entire final segment being foot show on a bench, the first quarter (.25) or half (.5) of the final segment could be on the bench and the last half of the final segment could be the girls' walking somewhere to get their feet even dirtier.

I would also love to see, or at least read in text, what happens when the camera goes to fade in the last segment. Do the girls walk barefoot all the way home? Or do they put their shoes back on? How much longer do they stay barefoot?

Yes, being able to see the material that hasn´t been used is an interesting idea. When did the girl take her shoes off? Did she put them on for a while to get warm? In fact nobody would have to scrap the foot show episode. Adding this one would certainly make up for the missing time when the girl "is doing stuff".

As for the things girls could do in the future, why not trying the following roleplay:
The girl is in a surgery complaining to the doctor (a bloke or a gal in white lab coat) that her feet hurt. The doctor asks the patient to take her shoes and socks off, has a look and says something about flat feet or a developing bunions. As a treatment he/ she recomends a barefoot walk. The girl agrees and walks home, the shoes and socks in her handbag.

I personally like the foot show at the end (in particular the sole show). To me it shows the travels and endurance of the women.
