Hi!

I'd love to see the girls practicing sports barefoot: Races on coarse pavement and sharp gravel, playing tennis, basketball in the street, etc. things that put their feet, their soles to the test.

I think it would be nice also to scan the soles of their feet, besides the pics.

Id love to see this also. There were a couple of girls when I was atschool who always did pe in bare feeet. It was great to see them outside on the yard playing tennis or netball. The contrast between them and the other girls, with the others having chunky trainers and socks and those two with lovely bare feet

The contribution idead is a nice one - but why not offer a choice? Eithr 10 pics and free membership or a one off payment. Some people are not in a position to contribute original pics

That's a good point, i hadn't thought about that. It's a bit of a dillema, i want the site to bee free, but i also want people to be motivated to contribute to the site. I'll think about it, but thanks for the tip!

I agree, it's a good idea that people must contribute with pics for a free membership. You never mentioned those had to be 100% original, never-seen-before pictures. There are thousands of good pics floating in Flickr, MySpace, DeviantArt, etc. so as far as one mentions the author and gives a link back to the pics, I think it would be valid to use those pics to get the free membership, as far as we are not violating any copyright.

I think the 10 pics per membership trade is fair and it will be a good way to increase the collection and keep it free.

I've been thinking about your remark. And i think you are right, there should be a choice. So now www.thebarefootarchives.com offers that choice. You can join by creditcard to. The memberships are cheap and it still is a non-profit site. So the membership-fee will only be used for new photo-shoots.

I have a lot of "original" photo's. Some, I've posted on here. And they seemed to be received quite well.
My only snag is that my email isn't working right now. ANd even when it is, I'd hve to send one photo at a time because of the file size. I wish you have web site to download to or copy to. Then I could just copy over the link. Maybe have a temporary password while downloading. Because I saw was "join" . And how much 7 eur in US?
Most of mine are on the hardcore or extreme varity, but that's what fascinates me.
