Paul, Alexandra the "hippie chick" in the summer dress, is great. What I find really interesting about your videos is how flexible the authorities are in Russia, compared to the U.S. In the U.S., girls walking barefoot in Metro stations, in shopping malls, and in construction sites would be asked to leave the premises immediately. How uptight the U.S. has gotten with rules and regulations. A lot has to do with the lawsuit crazy aspect of the U.S., and much has to do with this "sissy state" the U.S. has become.

So seeing Alexandra and the other recent models go barefoot in such public settings without being accosted is great! cool.gif

Alexandra is gorgeous and I hope she will be in more updates in the future.

I like the updates where she was on the metro and also where she goes shopping in bare feet.

Hi doobie4416!

Does US only has such restrictions? Or Canada and EU countries are the same?

Paul, not sure about Canada and the EU but this I know for sure: Any woman walking barefoot in Metro, construction sites, and in furniture stores and shopping malls in the U.S. would be asked to leave immediately.

I worked at a retail store when I was in college and loved it when girls would come into the store barefoot (I worked at a video rental store). The manager would nearly immediately make them leave. I think the fear of lawsuits is much to blame - the stores don't want to be sued if their feet are injured. And there is this big inappropriate factor in the U.S. - giant tattoos are okay. But bare feet are not. mad.gif

We live in the Southern US, and my wife goes barefoot nearly everywhere: grocery stores, restaurants, Home Depot, Target, coffee shops. She might get some negative attention three or four times a year, but she usually just tells them her flip-flop broke.

There's no way I would throw her out!

As to the main issue, even in the U.S., there are places where a girl could go barefoot, but you just never know when you might get hassled, and sometimes it just depends which employees/managers are working.

Generally though, if a place has security guards of some kind, hassles are more likely, since the rent-a-cops like to throw their weight around and try to justify their employment.

No issue here in the UK with being barefoot in store - only issue is lack of girls doing it. I'm waiting for some fashion magazine to announce that being barefoot is the BIG THING for girls this summer or better still Autumn - but I wait in vain.

I sure wish that someone would promote that idea....I'm sick of those awful flip flops and athletic shoes....you'd think that their feet would be so hot and uncomfortable that they'd be just begging to display their piggies....but nooooo.

As this is thread the official "shrine" of Alexandra, what I'm posting is off topic, but worth a read.

Probably the closest we ever got to the situation you describe was in July 2003, when British journalist Sarah Ivens wrote an article about barefoot fashion.

While not advocating being barefoot in unusual situations like gigs and train stations, she certainly warms towards the idea of employing bare feet in an everyday outfit for social occasions... this is the full article:

http://www.theguardian.com/theobserver/200...esreview.review

From a personal stance, 2003 was an amazing summer. At that age hormones were rushing around my body BIG TIME, and as the weather was so good I sighted the highest number of barefoot women ever over a 2 month period.... five I think in total, which is a pretty impressive total for the prudish UK.

But then this was a time before ugly-ass "boho" shoes (ha!) became the rage at the turn of the decade a few years ago. No doubt egged on by the evolution of crappy "fashion vlogs" on Youtube that glorify hideous footwear!

Rant over. smile.gif

Returning to the topic... let's say Paul DID get Alexandra back for an encore, what scenario would you like to see her in?

I'm still all for clubbing with friends (not goths, although that would be a good sister site!) whereby Alex is the only one to leave the apartment barefoot, with an array of shoes visible, showing that it is a conscious choice she makes.

How about grape stomping at a wine cellar? Or maybe a nice forest walk? Haven't had tha latter for YEARS!

I'm all for a simple grocery shopping expedition....clad in that classic combo once worn so proudly by the barefoot girls in the stores back in the Golden Days where I live...a simple t-shirt (navel exposing or no) and cut off denim short-shorts. This would be a total turn on!! cool.gif

I'm not for night spots or nature trails for these reasons respectively....in the dark night spots...the darkness obscures the bare feet to a great extent...likewise with too many bodies jostling for the attention of the camera.....and as for outdoor nature adventures....well, the soles don't register that nice gray to black coloration that we all know and love so much.....my 2 cents for what it's worth. cool.gif
