OK, here's an idea you'll all love.

Russians are great boxers and there's a real traditional macho culture which we've lost here western Europe to a great extent. There must be loads of boxing shows on in and around Moscow, maybe not big ones but just featuring local amateur talent

Anyway, that gave me an idea..........

Two couples go to a boxing show - they're dressed up smartly as is the convention. You know what's coming next? yes, one of the women goes barefoot (and of course the other does not but does wear heels). The shoot takes in the journey to the venue - either driving (she drives of course) or on the metro or bus etc don't mind. We see shots of them in the venue, at their seats, in the bar, wandering around, watching the bouts and then the journey home. The venue is raucous and crowded but our barefoot heroine doesn't care.

DO IT, Paul. Models should of course be over 25.

Great idea Mike123...I'm a huge boxing fan, and I must say, in the context of this forum, I've never thought of that....
I'm a long time boxing fan, but for a long time, I've been on a couple of boxing forums mostly in the interest of "classic" boxing...great boxers of the past, and I haven't been too keen on today's scene until recently. GGG, Sergey Kovalev and Artur Beterbiev have sparked my interest in today's boxing scene and I must say that I'm a huge fan of Russian, Ukrainian and Eastern European boxers in general.
As a matter of fact, I'm almost as big a fan of the Russian boxers as I am of lovely barefoot Russian girls, lol...what a combination this is! I have become a Russophile I believe....what with my thing for Russian women, boxing , the language and Russian culture in general.
Anyway, this is a great idea...I'd love to see it come to pass,...also the idea's that I've been suggesting to Paul as well.[B]
By the way, I wonder, do you think that most of the models are at least 25?

Sadly, I don't think many of the CF girls are over 25 though at least they're all over 18 which is good.

As I say under another topic heading, I'd love to see some over 35s on CF too.

I think the boxing film is prime over 35s territory. Perfect too for the first Spring barefoot shoot of the year.

In fact, I've been meaning to reprise the issue of lack of narrative drive in the CF shoots. I wrote about it a few months ago and things haven't really got much better. I don't mean to gripe 'cos CF is the best foot site on the web BUT it'd be great to have some STORY behind the shoots. That's why the barefoot shopping centre shoots were so good (though I wasn't fussed about dicking about with the shopping trolleys but anyway......).

I'd also love to see a shoot featuring the dress style of Jenya in First barefoot Spring Walk a few years ago. She looks kind of rebellious but still very feminine. The scenario would be that a couple of similarly dressed BUT SHOD friends come and call for her. She leaves her flat barefoot and they travel to meet a couple of guys buying beer and cigarettes on the way. They hang out together around the shops, loiter around by a graffiti smeared underpass etc. The weather is not cold but not hot - low 60s and overcast with darkness falling as the shoot continues.

What say you, people?

Glad you like it that I like your boxing idea...truth is, I hang out on two boxing websites, Checkhook Boxing and Boxing News and Views (I think that's their name now...used to be Eastside Boxing) when I'm not on City Feet..and I LOVE the idea of combining the two passions...boxing and beautiful barefoot Russian girls....wish they were like that here where I live...but you NEVER see bare feet.
Whereas I respect you and hope you get your wish regarding the older women, I LOVE these younger, fearlessly barefooting young ladies....they make the world go 'round for me, as they are like reincarnations of the young women you'd see here where I live a decade or two ago...when things were cooler and female bare feet were allowed...it was so cool. I'm all turned on to Russian girls.
I agree with you 100% about knowing more about the shoots...and knowing just a little bit about the models...so long as it doesn't violate their privacy or anything...you know what I mean. I'd like to know the girl's height...and anything else about them that they would willingly volunteer..(age, maybe?)
I've had other ideas, like...maybe a limited sort of "reunion", tho' a "get-together" may be the more appropriate term, if the girls don't know each other...and that would be cool, to know if any of the models actually know each other.
I have suggested to Paul that they should be encouraged to speak...I love to hear Russian, especially spoken by a sexy barefoot girl.
Lastly, Paul mentioned something about contacting some past models for sort of an encore...I'd love that...and I've listed my Top Four many times for encores:

As for the boxing show, I must say I like the idea a lot. But being a cold weather barefooting fan, I wouldn´t mind swapping the boxing part for ice hockey one. Thus the major part of the story could also take place in CSKA Ice Palace. How about that?

I back you up completely on the issue of narrative content Mike123...and I think I have some good suggestions regarding the models in my previous post in this thread. The models here, to me, are sexier and more real than "hollywood stars" or whoever the current rages happen to be in the world of entertainment, I also hope Paul agrees that the models should be made aware of their fan base here and maybe some favorites of the past can be enticed to return for an encore....with the aforementioned narrative content implemented to spice things up even more.

Glad to have some agreement on the need for more narrative: I think I should be more explicit about what I mean, though.

By narrative I mean that the shoots have a story that puts the model's barefooting in some context. Thus we had the series Mega Mall Shopping in February 2011 which comprised a full STORY: couple and her friend go shopping, one of them goes barefoot and her friend is persuaded to do likewise. They GO somewhere, they DO something, there's a GOAL, a DESTINATION and we follow it through and can reasonably look forward to the next stage of the narrative and what it might bring.

In too many shoots (feel bad in seeming to complain at such a great website but it's because we all love it so much) we simply have the model wandering around and walking so slowly that it's OBVIOUS that there is no destination, no mission.

I think the narrative has to be realistic (hence my agreement with whoever it was pointed out that Chilly Feet is a bit contrived UNLESS again there's a strong narrative, a good REASON WHY a girl should be barefoot in winter. I DOES happen as you'll have seen form some of the pictures I've posted here from the UK)

So again may I call for more shoots that are headed with a story title like 'A Night Out AT the Boxing' or 'To Work on the Metro Barefoot' or 'Hanging out and Drinking Beer / Vodka Barefoot' rather than simply ' A Sunny Day' which leads me to ask, a sunny day doing what?

Anyway, to close here's another idea before I get back to work: two office girls one of whom is barefoot - yes only one not both - decide to go for a smoking break: we see them go down the stairs or in the lift and hang around outside the door smoking. Once finished the barefoot woman crushed her butt with her foot but realises she's out of cigarettes. as it's approaching lunchtime they both head off to the shops for another pack. Both are dressed for the office in business suits, one shod, one barefoot. Here there is a story, a narrative.

One thing. I'd also love to know the temperature for the shoots so it helps to FEEL what it was like on the day.

Love your ideas Mike123, and I'm in favor of us continually tossing these ideas at Paul for the upcoming warm weather shooting season. I have never been a fan of winter, snowy shoots in Russia, because the feet tend not to get as dirty, and sometimes become pinkish in color, which is somewhat antiseptic and sterile, as in those other[I] sites where the girls seem to never ever let their feet touch the pavement or dirty public floors...they're almost like manikins in these sites....not the real, earthy, sexy models of City Feet. Feet need contact with the streets, sidewalks and dirty store floors to get to that "blacker with every step" stage.
In as far as bringing back some of the earlier models for an encore, especially the top four favorites of mine, I'd like to see them simply in a grocery store, innocently doing their shopping, clad only in a t-shirt and shorts...and occasionally having some banter with the camera...I love those sexy Russian voices. Lots of dirty sole display as they contemplate what to buy...and always in crowds. Being in crowds, especially shod women, is one of the sexiest things about these barefoot CF models.
Yes, the narrative content you mentioned is a must,,,explaining the episode's content i.e., these ideas, as I've said before, enrich and add new dimension to this fantastic site...and Paul has to be glad that CF has such enthusiastic fans.
What I'd like to get from Paul is if he knows if the models know what an enthusiastic fan base they have here....maybe that would encourage some past models to reappear.

Good that we seem to be on the same page about a lot of things, Michael, (and thanks for your private note by the way which I did get but didn't know how to respond to outside of this forum).
I suspect, though that on a couple of points we diverge;
1. the wearing of shorts: Must be a climate thing and what you're used to. With you in sunny warm Florida and me in cold soggy London I'd much prefer to see girls in jeans, leggings or a skirt than shorts. Shorts just seem a bit 1970's Burt Reynolds movie and kind of contrived in 2015 BUT that's probably because I never see them worn 'in real life'
2. The reunion thing: I can see the appeal in seeing one or two of the girls again especially Masha from the very early days since she'll be 10 years older now and that'd be good in itself. But its the whole lone barefooter amongst a shod crown thing for mw which is more appealing: a reunion of barefoot girls would be to dilute the appeal of all of them

Bu at least we agree on our love of Russian boxing and of CF as the best foot site on the web.

Finally, how do you like this: Barefoot Errands: woman is doing the housework barefoot and discovers she needs some provisions and few other things that need to be done - send a parcel through the Post Office etc. She gets into the car and completes a round of errands which include stopping to get petrol (gas) and check her tyre pressures. She meets a friend while she's out and they go for coffee. Her friend DOES NOT COMMENT on her bare feet since she is a woman and that's just what women do sometimes (have you noticed this - that women don't remark on when others go barefoot? That in ITSELF is so sexy as it suggests they see it as a perfectly reasonable thing to do). She gives her friend a lift home and on the way they jibber jabber on in Russian which would take the shoot to new heights of delight.

This shoot has everything including barefoot driving, Russian speaking and of course, A STORY.

I think you may be right about a reunion...and who's to say that any of these girls know each other anyway....but the main point, and I lost focus of it...the most important thing...there should be only ONE girl barefoot in a shoot....the sexiest thing imaginable...the barefoot girl with a shod friend....and surrounded by people wearing shoes...that HAS to be the rule.
I can respect your perspective with the jeans, but Mike, I'm a bare leg/bare foot guy....I can't help it it's like the short, colorful dress worn by beautiful Alexandra (and the tongue stud ) ...when she was shopping in that department store in episode 3 of her shoot, she was in that store, and especially, on that escalator, surrounded by girls with shoes, sweaters and jeans on...and there she was with her bare arms.legs and feet....the contrast is sexy beyond words to me.
Barefoot errands is an awesome idea,...
I love it! We have to refresh Paul's memory or give him a reminder of some kind before the spring...grocery shopping, the errands concept,...all these ideas of ours are indications of a healthy, enthusiastic fan base that he just has to appreciate!! City Feet has a creative as hell fan base,...and I'd love it if the models, both past and present were aware of the appreciation of their sexiness!

With summer on the way, this is a perfect opportunity to rekindle what is an often overlooked theme.

Basically, we have a girl about to embark on a night out, possibly with shod friends, who at the last moment decides to leave her shoes behind.

She leaves the house with spotless soles and as we progress through parts 1-4 we see them gradually turn filthy!

Part 4 culminates in the traditional "foot show" of course. Whether that is in the club or back home, possibly followed by a foot washing session (harking back to Gelya's only-ever shoot in 2004) is up to Paul to decide!

Totally, it's certainly time for another nightclub / gig based shoot.
