I'm really not a fan of all those police chase reality TV programs but as there wan nothing else on, I was forced to watch an episode of "Speeders" last night. Anyway, a woman got pulled over for speeding she was asked to exit the SUV to do some tests. As she stepped out she said "I'm not waring any shoes" and the camera moved down to catch a great little closeup of her bare feet (Which I managed to capture on this mornings repeat using my hand held cam). Here's a few screen caps:





She wasn't warned or even questioned about driving barefoot, but as she was over the alcohol limit she was arrested but unfortunately it didn't show if she was still barefoot when taken to the police station - One can only hope that she was.

Just wondered if any of you had seen this sort of thing on another TV program or indeed in real life?

Actually, if not for the cost and size of production required, it might make a pretty nice City Feet topic to have a girl pulled over and taken to a holding cell in her bare feet. I do remember a website called Slavegrlproductions which featured barefoot women in prison with pitch black soles - Would be nice to see that sort of thing again!

My guess, Ewan, is that you're writing from the US where - it seems - there's some restriction on driving barefoot.
While I'm totally with you on finding this very attractive, the idea of a barefoot driver getting pulled over and taken to a cell wouldn't hold up here in the UK certainly and I'd guess neither in Russia where a spirit of the Wild West prevails in my experience there.
Driving barefoot here in the UK is perfectly legal and a legitimate choice for some women - occasionally shown on TV but without any sense of censure. It seems pretty much anything goes in Russia too and ironically you feel freer there than many other places.
That said I would like CF to feature a barefoot driving clip and have suggested one recently where a bunch of friends preferably over 25, head out for an evening, 'our' woman doing the driving and indeed the whole evening, barefoot.

That said, I'm also up for a kind of 'barefoot bad girl' shoot but this would mean cooperation from other parties and would perhaps be a bit contrived. maybe she nicks some cigarettes from a shop or something. Again, I've suggested a sort of barefoot bad girl look if nothing else where she hangs around with a bunch of (shod) mixed sex friends - probably the closet we'll get.

@Mike123 - Thanks for the reply Mike but you've misundersood my post/title. This girl was NOT pulled for driving barefoot - Simply caught speeding and just so happened to be barefoot. It's just unfortunate that this was shown on a "Law" program as opposed to say "Geordie Shore" - Although if it was I would have never known about it, lol.

As I said in the original post, "She wasn't warned or even questioned about driving barefoot, but as she was over the alcohol limit she was arrested" - Suggesting that the whole, "It's illegal to drive barefoot" thing is a complete myth, and quite rightly so.

I guess the moral of this post is more about how showing women actually driving barefoot will hopefully influence others to do the same!

It would be extremely silly to ticket someone for driving barefoot, as I think you actually have more control without shoes.

No, fair enough she couldn't be pulled over for driving barefoot as the patrol man couldn't know she was barefoot before pulling her over but it's the fact that you remark that she wasn't warned about it which I was latching onto.

Anyway, as I say nice post and let's see more barefoot driving on CF.

Only suggestion we've had of this is actually on Chilly Feet where Margarita is 'Barefoot Car Driver Girl': very nice indeed, so casual about it.
