Even in an upscale grocery store in my area, Publix, they seem to have some contradictory standards...on the entrance to the store is the expected "shirt and shoes required" notice, yet one day they allowed admittance into the store a grossly overweight woman with her boyfriend/husband,...she had a bikini on...and spike high heels..(I would have had no desire to see her feet anyway), but God forbid a chick coming into the store barefoot....(!!!) I remember in that very store back in the 90's seeing a young lady without shoes, during the time of year that you can walk on the pavement without burning your feet...and she she was FINE looking, with t-shirt and shorts. This happened all the time in the "less upscale" grocery stores. On one occasion, a barefoot beauty and her husband were in a store shopping together, and there were guys noticing her...me included...but in a discrete way. Oh yeah,...guys are attracted to feet in a big way. Feetrosopher, the girls, as I mentioned in an earlier post, that take offense to their feet being looked at in public amuse the hell out of me. What are they thinking anyway? It doesn't occur to them that their unshod feet make them ultra-sexy to normal men? In the good ol' days, the smiles you'd get in return from a girl who noticed that you must have been admiring their feet were so cool.
I have always found female feet sexy and attractive, but just as you say Feetosopher, I don't think of the feet as inanimate objects divorced from the lovely entity as a whole. Rather, I use a term that my friend DG2001 introduced me too,...I am an "aretifist".....someone who admires the bare female feet as parts of the whole, lovely woman...and if anything, instead of making her feel uncomfortable, as a pervert would make her feel...I would wish to make her realize that I hold her in the highest esteem that I can hold for a woman,...that of a free spirit, exercising what should be her God given right as a free person..to merely go barefoot in public, black soles and all,thereby contributing beauty to the world.[I]

Feetosopher, this "barefooters vs. bare (female) feet enthusiasts" is intriguing to me..educate me a bit about that. If it's what I think you mean, it's barefooters (girls who go barefoot ALL the time) and the barefoot enthusiasts...(girls who go barefoot publicly on occasion)? If that's the case, let me tell you that I LOVE them both,...and neither ones occur ever where I live.

I don't want to speak for the Feetosopher, but since he was backing up my point, I'm pretty sure the barefooters are those people who go barefoot as some sort of lifestyle statement, and can be rather militant about it, while the barefoot enthusiasts are the guys like us. Basically, they don't see anything sexy or erotic about going barefoot, but they scorn us because we do.

Oh, ok...as a matter of fact, I know now what you mean! Once on You Tube, I came across a series of vids about a young lady who lives the "natural life" in Costa Rica...and part of that natural life includes her going barefoot 24/7. Some guy posted something about her being sexy with her dirty, natural feet and all, and he received a barrage of scorn from SEVERAL posters...I don't know if the girl in question joined in, but they were raking him over the coals for even SUGGESTING that there was any implication of sexiness in her going barefoot all the time...."you Infidel," they were saying,...making the guy out to be a pervert or worse...it was ridiculous. It wasn't like those types that post "I'd like to cum on your toes" or anything...it was a really mild comment...a compliment really. I think that's the militants that you're referring to.

Yes, that's a fact. Our society considers homosexuality a normal thing. A man who has sex with another man is considered normal and must be respected, even if the couple kisses in public in front of small kids and parents have a hard time explaining their little children what's happening. Mainstream movies and TV series even encourage this behavior, a child can have two mums or two dads and it's OK, it's funny and it's socially accepted. But a man who has an attraction to pretty women who happen to walk barefoot is a pervert, is a sicko, a weirdo and must be scorned, no matter how gentle and polite he might be.

Actually I think that most male barefooters in SBL are gay. It's OK, please do not misinterpret me, I am not "anti gay" and I don't mind their sexual preferences at all. As Hal well stated, "It's 2015 and we should all have an open mind. ", and as Southerncrossfire44 said, "Do not feed the trolls".

I think you're right DG,...I myself am reluctant even with friends and certainly with family to expouse my love for the sensuality of female feet....but I'm sure that "coming out" if I were gay would be okayed without much hesitation. This world is turned around unfortunately...and the mere pretense of a reason for the "No Bare Feet" signs might be explained as a legal concern that if a girl was to pick up a splinter, or a tiny shard of glass in one of her feet, that a lawsuit would ensue gives the store owners the "right" to put up their warnings on the doors saying "no shirt, no shoes, no service". Just maintaining a love of the sight of a barefoot female is to risk being misjudged (in most cases) as a pervert, or a potential molester or something. It's a dismal reflection of out society today. This is one of the reasons I love City Feet so much and Russia's comparatively laid back, nonobtrusive attitude towards female bare feet. The models are looked at, no doubt, but the prevailing feeling of the public is cool and very tolerant..and I love that.
I believe that most males...sexually healthy males that is, find an attractive woman to be a real turn on, but the very act of a female going barefoot in society, with all the prohibitions against it, must take real courage. Barefoot enthusiasts shouldn't be mislabled as the perverted types who post about "cumming on your toes"...in fact, I despise uncool, uncontrolled types like that who have probably helped to intimidate many girls into thinking twice about doing what used to be a very cool, laid back, innocent thing like shopping and participating in other activities barefoot. Being laid back and cool, ...respectful to a barefoot girl used to be the norm back in the "good old days" here in this country. Being attracted to a barefoot girl in public is a very healthy thing, in my view, and I'm sure it's the view of most of my fellow posters.

It's a good thing that some parts of society seems to be getting less and less homophobic. Now it would be great if fetishes would be accepted with the same kind of open-mindedness, but I fear it will still take another 50 years or so...

Where I am, even in warm weather, barefoot girls seem to have been outlawed...
you would expect, even still, to see one occasionally in a laundromat, where I was this morning, but not even there. There's some kind of aesthetic that has unfortunately taken over,....far from the freer and easier times in the 80's and 90's when barefoot girls in grocery stores, convenience stores, and other public places was okay, cool and tolerated with no big deal made. I sure hope for a swing back to that previous mindset and attitude...at least in my lifetime.

oh yeah i remember those days to when you would see those girls at the laudromat,grocey stores,7-11stores(thought i was the only one)now those to as time has gone by has vanish.but i did see lots of them in 2007 in miami,i posted some pic's here a while back when i was on vacation down.
