A while ago I wrote a little article about the joys of seeing women barefoot on public transport. As it's one of the earliest memories I have of liking dirty feet I'm always glad to see that it's still going on, however I hate the reaction it gets from most people. Anyway, a few weeks later I came across this one:



I just wanted to know what your reaction to this is and what you would do if you were on that train with her?

I am a heavy user of public transportation, as I do not drive.. in Italy dirty-soled women on trains, buses etc. are VERY hard to meet, while women kicking off their shoes and putting their bare feet on the seat in front of them are relatively frequent in spring-summer.
In both cases, besides my obvious delight, and the critical issue of having well-matched travel plans (it's always sad when the selected "target" jumps off the train after 1-2 stops, while you have a long way to go..) there is always a trade-off between the pros and cons of TWO BASIC OPTIONS:
1) enjoying the show without saying a word, with seeking "eye contact" and achieving "speechless dialogue" with the barefoot woman as the most ambitious goals;
2) trying to chat with the beauty, with trying to get your eyes/hands/nose/lips/tongue (you choose! ) on her feet as the most ambitious goal.
In my specific case, I always add to option 2 the "wild card" of getting her to model for BAREFOOT URBAN GIRLS and/or BAREFOOT NUDITY, of course..
It's always a tough dilemma.. you never know how the "target" would react to your attention towards her bare feet.. you can go from enjoying the foot treatment of your life.. to her handbag violently hitting your skull..
Trying to get some clues about her most likely reaction is always a wise move.. but women are full of mysteries and surprises..
Whatever the option chosen, and the results.. I always pray for a barefoot woman to cheer up my travels!

In comparison to the reactions described above, mine would be rather boring.
All the energy would go to a desperate effort not be too obvious.

Not sure what I'd say, but I know I'd enjoy the view. Whenever I see pics like this, I'm always curious about the story behind it. Why is she barefoot? Does she go barefoot often, or just this one time? She's certainly not shy about having dirty feet. Of course, we'll likely never know why she's barefoot on the train, but it's fun to imagine the possibilities.

By the way footpromoter, I've been reading your blog, and it's very good! Keep it up!

I would try to sense if she was conversational by saying something trivial enough, and then go from there...if i sensed that she wanted to be cool and distant, then I would watch as discretely as possible. Really, it would be a shocker if that happened in the "good ol" U.S. This is a very cool thing that happens in Moscow and other more laid back U.S. cities, but not ever, ever, ever where i am so unfortunate to live.

@Feetosopher / @Hal - It's grerat to know that you would try and recruit her for a photo/video shoot on your websites and to be honest with you she looks like the type of woman who would be up for that sort of thing too! If I ever find out who she is I'll put her in touch lol

I was recently pointed in the direction of an advert which kind of ties in with this topic of barefoot women on transport. I know it's not "real life" and her feet are very clean, but wouldn't it be fantastic if this happened to you?
