I've publicised this website before which is great for photos of women barefoot in cold weather - one of my particular favoutite themes. The great thing is though, that they're generally dressed up for a night out - not hippies or such like which for me is a total turn off.

What I love about this shot is that while 'our' girl is barefoot, her friend is 'sensibly' dressed in a coat, trousers and boots, setting off our barefoot girl brilliantly. It seems from some contributions to this site that people think more is more - the more girls that go barefoot the better; no, no NO!. If one girl is barefoot and others around her are not, that makes her all the more heroic and appealing.

I look forward to this year's collection: I hope for lost of shots of girls dressed up for a night out, girls in office clothes, in crowded places, at concerts and in nightclubs, driving and on the metro - all barefoot of course - surrounded by their shod friends and colleagues.

I must confess that I am quite in line with you, as I find poshy barefoot beauties more intriguing than hippy or punk ones.. beautiful girls dressed elegantly but leaving their shoes at home (or wearing no shoes year-round, like my model RED-X.. who now lives in Switzerland, where winters are fXXXing cold!) have that "incongruous" element which drives me nuts!
Indeed some of the most popular among my BAREFOOT URBAN GIRLS are of the poshy type: ALYSSA, AMANDA, STEFANIA, SWAINS.. just to name a few (the fact that most of my models are Italian deffo helps, as most Italian girls love fashion!).
And I also admit that nothing knocks me out like a girl who walks barefooted in winter, amid the puzzled faces of all the other shod girls! (and guys!)
