Haidy was in Lima last weekend, there are several updates in her Diary

She walked barefoot in the street for several hours. She even stood for five minutes on extremely hot metal planks as she waited for a bus... it hurt her soles, but she was brave enough to take it.






This is what the photographer wrote:

"We came into Central Station, I started talking to Haidy about where we were going and other places she was going to know, we talked and one of the buses went by so we waited for the next one, I noticed Haidy was a bit uncomfortable and I asked if something happened. She told me that the floor of the metro station, which was made of a metal plank, burned a lot and that it caused her extreme sting on her feet, it was 1 pm and the sun was in all its strength. I kneeled down and touched with my hands the sizzling floor and Haidy's soles, I was worried about how much it burnt, she, always with a smile on her face, told me 'the floor burns as red hot coals, this is a harder endurance test, even more difficult than dancing on broken glass, but don't worry, I can do it' and then we kept on waiting."



Haidy said about this:

" Recuerdo perfectamente el instante que pisaba esa plancha de metal cada pisada era mas y mas caliente pero no era nada imposible asi q fue un reto mas para mi"

"I remember perfectly the instant when I stood on that metal plank, every step was hotter and hotter but it was not impossible so it was another challenge to me"

Great --- she totally rocks! Hope to see more of her. Love the close-up of those black soles and she has nice toes as well.
