Well done jwdf88!!!  It's great to make things happen instead of just consuming videos and pictures others made.  Thanks a lot for sharing!!!  I am sure you had lots of fun.

Well amigo.. if everybody grabbed a camera, made his/her own pics & vids, and quit "consuming videos and pictures others made".. me, Hal Heaven, Pavel, Arnaud Ferrand etc. would be forced to quit our businesses.. and go raise veggies (to avoid starvation)! laugh.gif

Hi Feetosopher! To answer your previous questions there are parts of the US (like California) where barefooting is more common but all in all it can be disappointing at times. So I was glad these girls were so open minded.

One thing I now appreciate is how much money and time and can be spent finding models, meeting, and editing/uploading video. So for me personally I plan to continue to buy barefoot clips because the quality and situation of some can be awesome and acquired instantly.

Not at all my dear friend Feetosopher!

Just as owning a ball doesn't make me a socer crack, owning a camera doesn't make me a good photographer or videographer! There's art involved, time, passion, effort.

We're only amateurs, you're the Pro's, the Big Leagues! So you're not in risk of having to grow your own veggies :-)

Cheers!

Yeah, I knew about California.. maybe Florida as well?

I am really glad that you understand what is behind a single photoset or video of mine (or of Hal's, Pavel's, Arnaud's etc.).
Some think it's just us lucky assholes having loads of easy money to get many nice girls to walk barefooted.. which is totally false! All my models, as well as Hal's German models of Toes-In-Action, walk barefooted also in everyday life, FOR FREE.. they ask no money to do this!
Models are paid by us footographers both for the time and energy they put into modelling, and for the fact that the pics and vids we take of them are published on pay websites.. as we make money on such material, it's fair to reward the models. Also appearing on internet has many implications (some of them rather unpleasant!), so it's fair to reward the models for this, too!
And there's much more behind our photos and videos: finding new models, new ideas, new locations; improving our technique and upgrading our hardware; spending a lot of time and energies in editing; and many other activities aimed at delivering our customers the best possible quality.

In times when cheap digital cameras (also in mobile phones) allow many people to become "footographers", and social networks provide (in theory at least) great visibility to everyone posting something, it's getting more and more difficult for us "professionals" to get people understand the extra value which is behind the pictures and videos we make, and hence the fact that a CHEAP price must be paid to enjoy it.

So many thanks for appreciating all this, and also for giving me a chance to.. defend my category! smile.gif
We are not greedy assholes.. I can grant you that nobody of us will ever get rich on the stuff we make: competition (especially with mafia-style paysites posting stolen material, but also with free amateur sites) is fierce, and we operate on really tight margins (if any!).

Good luck for your future photo-video sessions.. wink.gif All the best from Italy! smile.gif

Hola amigo.. well, this may be clear to you, but - see my reply to jwdf88 - the reality is sadly different.. it's getting more and more difficult to get people understand that we professional footographers just ask them to pay a CHEAP price for the GREAT extra value that we deliver in the pics and vids we make.

So maybe I will not end up growing veggies, but I am taking a HUGE risk in launching my pay websites in these days.
I am gonna do so just because I think that it's a great shame that the 30,000 pics of classic barefooting, the 5,000 pics of barefoot flashing & nudity, and the hours of video footage on both subjects that I have taken in nearly 10 years of activity, may remain in my archives forever, for nobody to enjoy.. it would be a shame especially about the nude stuff, as you know that Toes-In-Action does not feature nudity.

So wish me good luck for the launch, amigo.. Day One is getting closer! wink.gif
Ciao from Italy! smile.gif

Florida (south east) though it has warm weather does not seem to have as many barefooters as I like (only on the beach which is not so exciting.) It might get too hot which might cause searing black top. California has milder weather that is more mediterranean like.
The New England area (north east) is diverse but can get quite cold. But there are many small towns that are very artsy and where Barefooters can be common.
Midwest (center) - some barefooting activity going on in the summer. Winters are very cold.
The Northwest can be quite chilly and rainy and discourages barefooting I think. It does not get freezing cold though.
Just what I seen from my travels.

Keep up the great work Feetosopher!

As a Yankee, I can confirm what jwdf88 says. The southeastern US gets too hot in many places, plus it's a more conservative place with a history of poverty, so going barefoot probably has more of a social stigma attached to it than it would elsewhere.

The west coast is better because it never gets too hot or too cold, and it's far more of an open-minded culture (San Francisco, Portland, Seattle).

New York is liberal, but very status-conscious, so despite the millions of people who live here, seeing barefoot hippie girls is very rare. Seeing drunk girls take off expensive high heels and walk barefoot is more common, but that's not really a turn-on for me the way free-spirit hippie girls are.

Then there are the small college towns with hippies that you can find in any region (Asheville, Madison, Ithaca, Boulder, etc.). Depending on the weather (it can get really cold in some of those towns), you can see a fair number of barefoot hippies.

Nowhere in the US is like Germany, unfortunately, where barefoot hippie girls seem to be everywhere.

Clipper, I myself am not sure as I have never been to an amish community. From this photos I can understand why.

Anyone having that footwear in the summer must feel like their feet are trapped. I do not think the amish have much variety in footwear.
