While other workers are wearing boot or working shoes,she is completely barefeet,maybe she has tough feet ? (I think so...)

She looks a little like Vivian nowadays, one of my hardcore-hippy-dreadlock models. She now has extremely long dreads and still walks barefoot the entire summer.

Now the barefeet grape stomping is made only for folk tradition,for few minutes,but in the past was a used mode to make wine,and hundred girls stomped grape barefeet all the day,for many days...

Thanks! Actually, I've heard that there are a few places where they stimp on the grapes to extract the juice.
I'd love to have a wine that was stomped on by girls' feet!

In Italy for sure not.

Now all the wine is made by machinery,small for small quantity of wine,huge for industrial production,but always machinery.
The barefeet stomping is used only for folk representations.

But until 50'/60' was the contrary : the small and medium factory made wine by women stomping grape barefeet.
Until those years all the farm work were made manually from farmer working barefeet.

In Portugal they make the best Portwines by barefoot treading! It`s still the best way to make good Port.
