Have any of you ever had problems with women you dated who didn't approve of your attractive to their feet? Did they feel that it was weird, or even creepy?
My girlfriend has been very supportive and understanding. When we eat out, she often puts her feet in my lap! She hasn't gotten into going out in public barefooted, though, but that's fine with me.

Mixed bag. First of all, I think if you, the man... if you turn the feet thing into an issue and she gets the sense this is a serious obsession, if you can't make light of it and don't know how to introduce it, you've got problems. You, you general.

I've found unexpected situations. A chick who's naturally very playful with her feet, slips her shoes off easily, playful fiddling, up on the movie seat in front of her.. all on her own... can actually find the idea of someone sexually into her feet as being utterly revolting. As a matter of fact, I have found no 'type' or behavior type is an indicator.

I have pretty good illustrations of this. But here's one I haven't thought of in years: I had a female roommate in a huge loft in NYC. There were several people over, sitting around a table, we were drinking. My roommate and I had had been noticing each other but no activity yet. I'm sitting at the table with no shoes, same with her. I'm listening to this guy talk, when my roommate puts her feet on mine, under the table... and starts grinding them into mine, her toes into my toes. This wasn't footsie, this was like she's trying to fuck me under the table. And not looking at me. Long story short: we started a sexual relationship immediately but she actually found feet gross. She had no foot thingy, that was just being playful and nothing else. When feet came up, she told me she had a boyfriend who was really weird and fixated on her feet. And she very sexually adventurous too, we did a lotta stuff. But no feet.

And then you can have little Ms. Demure or someone who you would never think would contemplate foot stuff... who is totally down with it. You don't need to talk about it, you just go for it and she indulges you like it's nothing. And when she realizes you've got a big foot thing, it's just not an issue. Really, it's all rather incredible how these things actually manifest.

My girlfriend has told me that she's gotten more into her feet, since we've been together. She never thought of them as pretty, before!

My wife is cool about me being into her feet. I don't make it a constant part of foreplay, and sometimes she starts things with her feet. It's all good.

I did have one brief girlfriend who hated feet. Didn't even want me touching them. What made it extra frustrating was that she constantly wore flip flops and a toe ring (only girl I've ever had sex with that wore a toe ring). I wanted to tell her to wear socks if she didn't want me to try to suck on her toes during foreplay.

Also, has anyone here actually dated a hippie girl who didn't wear shoes? If so, what was her reaction to you being into her bare feet, especially if they were dirty?

I sometimes wonder if I'd be willing to kiss a hippie girl's dirty feet, as much as they turn me on.

When I look back at early years / university... there was so much barefoot activity immediately around me. But always something off... like a chick who's barefoot probably 3/4 of the time... but really spaced out, honestly just kind of stupid.

Or a girl buddy... and I'm not making this up... she had a foot fetish which she announced to me and several people one day. I couldn't believe it. She stood in front of the main library, barefoot, and asked people as they went in and out, what they thought of feet. I mean, way out there, no shame at all. And not just a generalized foot fetish, she specifically liked public barefooting. And we hung out a lot... but just no actual chemistry... it was so weird and frustrating and she only like guys who looked like girls.

I remember I was banging this girl, and she tells me about her friend who's an artist, who has an obsession with feet. She was just telling me this without knowing much about me.. I met the girl one night... but, impossible situation, I was already with this one chick, and our artist friend was only over for 30 min or so.

I am convinced and have reason to be... in reality, there are women who get up to stuff and will do things you would not imagine. But they don't post about it or anything, they don't talk about it.

My problem is that I'm just not into the hippie scene. I have a thing for hippie girls and their look: the dreadlocks, nose rings, and of course dirty bare feet. But I'm not into things like following Phish around, or vegan cooking, or the like (I like outdoorsy stuff, but that's probably it). I just don't think I could have struck up a relationship with one of the really hardcore hippie girls without any common interests.
