Hi. Just want to give you some heads-up. There is a EuroVision contest in Vienna this year and one of the contestants, Maria Olafs from Iceland not only performs her song barefoot, but she only arrived at the opening ceremony without shoes. She has been barefoot on all the ocassions so far. When the host asked her, where her shoes are, she said "actually, at home". She went barefoot all the way from the hotel, took the Eurovision bus, walked the Red Carpet barefoot and joined the opening reception in the Town Hall also shoeless.

Any more information on her? The interview video wasn't functioning...and the internet is kinda skimpy with info on her....anyway, I'm a fan already, lol....
She's a little bitty girl, isn't she? I know that it's a trend going with all these female Eurovision performers going barefoot, but Maria seems more extremeist in not having any shoes with her at all,...  -------------------- Yana, Alyona and Alexandra (colorful dress) are perfection...the sexiest and the prettiest models.

With the likes of Emmelie de Forest and Loreen, we're generally spoilt for choice at E.S.C Last year, those Russian twins went barefoot and for those not really familiar with the history of the contest, have a look at youtube for the following entries as well: - Hungary 2014 (+ bf guy  )- Finland 2010 - Cyprus 2009 (Didn't qualify) - Hungary 2007 Possibly the best one, even though for some ungodly reason it DIDN'T QUALIFY (wtf?!?!) - Croatia 2010..... it's as if they just KNOW it turns us on! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkl4YU5oHB8 -------------------- HALL OF FAME

Maria is almost criminally cute....and doesn't she realize that she's driving some of us CRAZY by going around EVERYWHERE barefoot?????? I have to keep up with this little fanatic!!

Maria is an absolute cutie! I sure hope she wins! Even if she doesn't win, maybe this will be a springboard to big success for her (and her bare feet).

Ups, she's out. No barefoot winner this year. And sorry to spoil it a bit more, but she didn't go barefoot totally everywhere. I saw photos from a press conference - she went barefoot just somewhere
