I will be visiting Munich in December, I am so hoping to see some barefeet - I know its a really long shot because it will be cold but maybe there will be the odd extreme barefooter.

I may do a little myself as it does feel nice and free to be barefoot in public, can anyone give any hints or tips as to where to spot any barefoot ladies?

Forget Munich, go to Newcastle or Manchester or Leeds or Birmingham or any provincial British town or city on a Saturday night once the clubs shut and you'll be in clover. July, December, makes no difference.

Occasionally I see some in Manchester. Only one day this week did I see a barefoot lady at Picadilly train station, she was with a guy and they were dressed up like they had been at a wedding or some kind of do and she was walking through the station with shoes in her hands.

It is a rare sighting that as this was only around 5:30pm - nice to see all the same.

Where in the UK are you Mike?

I'm in London and generally London girls generally wrap up warm for the winter in the international way but provincial girls don't and hence tend to end up barefoot and underdressed more often. They're a delight to see.
