| When it comes to outdoor barefooting, the weather during a particular session plays an important role. In my opinion, it can enhance the final result considerably. For me the most appealing thing about barefoot girls is the fact that their feet are fully exposed in situations in which everybody else wears shoes. In other words, a girl pushing a shopping trolley in a supermarket is much more attractive than a girl walking towards a swimming pool. Frankly, when Iīm, say, on the beach, I hardly notice that the girls all around me are barefoot because itīs normal there. This is the reason why I voted "cold". Not many people walk barefoot when the weather isnīt warm enough and this is exactly the thing that makes a barefoot girl stand out of the crowd so wonderfully! Paul, Hal, Feetosopher and you, "barefoot-park" guy, thanks for all your "cold weather stuff" you make for us! And you my fellow forum members, what do you make of this issue? Any comments to share? |

You are most welcome, @bfwatcher.. but frankly speaking.. my preferred temperature range for barefoot shootings is.. 27-32 °C..  By this, I mean "preferred by the photographer".. probably the models' soles would be more comfortable with a 23-27° C range.. especially when they have to walk on blacktop. I actually hate when temperature drops below 23°C.. call me the King Lizard.. |

OK, you prefer grilling to freezing. I respect that. Being aware of this fact, Iīm grateful for your winter sessions even more. By the way, do you still recall how UMA for instance or MARY liked the experience? They looked fantastic sporting their coats and leaving their feet completely bare but did they enjoy themselves as well? Was it difficult to persuade them and your other models to try to do something like that? |

| I voted warm because cold means trousers (and snow means clean soles) whereby hot can also restrict the range of surfaces. Also I think the sort of soles that can handle hot pavement are often too rough and calloused for my liking (cecilia). Of course there are exceptions, with a few girls on here withstanding v.hot weather and not having awful rough skin. Frankly though, I couldn't care less about the weather as long as the girls are fucking hot |

Thanks for your comment, Duffman847. I agree. I donīt like scorching hot pavements which virtually burn modelsīsoles either. The same could be said about winter. Who wants to see frostbite on modelsī toes? I think that extreme weather is not so great because it makes any girlīs performance less believable. It occurred to me back in 2016 when Paul released two CF and ChF videos on the same day. While Victoria http://www.chillyfeet.com/static/galleries/157/sample3.jpg was more beautiful and her feet were far sexier, I still enjoyed Elenaīs http://www.city-feet.com/static/galleries/1085/sample1.jpg update much more. The reason being, Elena was far more natural than the Chilly-Feet girl, who just walked around, frequently stopping for a while without any reason at all. On top of that her feet didnīt look that cold either, which probably meant that she made frequent breaks and took her shoes off just for a few minutes. A deal-breaker in my book. To sum it up, I sometimes prefer warm to cold if it means more natural and less staged performance. |

As for the considerations made by you and Duffman847 (great to see him back!  ) about girls looking natural/at ease when barefooting..personally I hate when girls look uneasy/in pain in barefooting pictures and videos (you will never see a barefoot beauty in distress at BUG).. however, we should not forget that several dudes actually love to see girls barefooting in extreme conditions, and suffering from that.. the share of BDSM-oriented enthusiasts of female barefooting is by no means negligible (even if I will never cater to them). Coming to my winter shootings.. I held most of them in the 2004-2010 period. I already hated cold weather, but I was also younger, so I could handle it a bit better. I had no particular difficulty in finding models available for autumn/winter sessions.. of course I paid them a higher fee. Most of the girls could "comfortably" handle 1,5/2 solid hours of barefooting if temperatures were in the 5-10°C range. Going beyond that duration, or barefooting in near-zero conditions, of course was more challenging. Some of the girls told me that once the initial shock of the contact between the warm soles and the cold pavement was absorbed, barefooting in autumn/winter was not that hard.. at least until cold started flowing from their feet to the rest of their body. That was the time to stop, and you could clearly see that from their faces.. which started to look not-so-charming.. Frankly speaking.. most of the times my winter sessions came to an end NOT because the girls' feet were freezing.. they came to an end because MY HANDS were freezing, and I kept on screwing pictures.. which is a no-no if you are paying a higher fee!  |

| A very important subject, the weather and very well raised, bfwatcher. For me the ideal weather is somewhere between around 10 and 18 degrees. Any lower and the credibility of girls going barefoot is strained and any higher and anyone can go barefoot, it's nothing special. Plus if you're waiting for the mercury to get beyond 23 or so you'll be waiting a long time here in the UK at least. The only time lower temperatures make any real sense is at night where women will typically go barefoot down to around zero or even lower if their heels are hurting them - these occasions are very special and I WISH Paul would do night time shoots to capture this circumstance. My favourite CF shoots are those where it's clearly chilly but not freezing. Thus the latest series with Sveta is a real hit for me. Previously those featuring Tatiana and the two Annas also hit the spot. The two Annas (Black Dress and Casual Trip) are good because they also have bare arms and something which I love is where girls are not just barefoot but also slightly under-dressed for the weather; you look at them and think, 'they must be cold'. I've noticed in real life that girls most likely to be barefoot are also least likely to dress warmly otherwise. No bigger turn-off than a girl 'wrapped up warm' and if she's wrapped up and barefoot the contrast makes little sense (though i know some on this board like it but, as I say, to each his own). Anyway, so Paul, please more cool weather shoots, especially where our heroine is barefoot and her friends are shod to highlight the contrast. Mike 123 |

Fascinating numbers and fantastic attitude! Hats off to your models and to you. Great job indeed! I sure wish I had been there with you! Thanks again for another glimpse of the secrets of your work! By the way, any chance to find out if CHAT NOIR or AMELIE are as winter resistant as the girls of 2010? As for the BDSM issue, arenīt we all into it at least a little? You know, walking barefoot is neither easy (rough, hot or cold surfaces to step on) nor pleasant (dirty streets, strange looks from people) and yet we keep asking girls to take their shoes off again and again and to pretend that theyīre into it and that theyīd be barefoot anyway even without us being around. |

Thanks for your comment! I totally agree with everything youīre saying. The only difference between our views is as follows: I tolerate lower temperatures and snow if itīs clear why the girl is barefoot (a dare, lost bet, broken shoes, etc.) and if she shows that sheīs cold (flexing toes time to time to help the circulation, standing on a piece of cardboard while waiting for a bus, etc.) Yes being able to see a BUG, TIA and above all CF barefoot girl in autumn and/ or winter is absolute bliss! |

I know that this might be a disappointment to several of my followers, as I know for sure that they sit in the BDSM camp.. yet I am always honest about my personal preferences. Thanks for your comment! Itīs wonderful to be able to read your thoughts on our favourite subject - female barefooting. Just one more remark on the BDSM issue. Of course it will never be that pronounced in our community. Iīd say that a vast majority of CF, BUG and TIA subrscribers shares your views. Otherwise they wouldnīt be here. What Iīm trying to say is that for me a touch of an SM ingeredient will always be there. Why? Just try to put yourself into any given modelīs "shoes". Would you find it a pleasant experience? Again.. it's a pleasure! Contrary to what some lads here think ( ), I am a friendly dude, and I love sharing my experiences as The Feetosopher with people who share my passion for barefoot beauties and female barefooting! The only pieces of information I cannot disclose are business-sensitive details (e.g. modelling fees) and personal/contact details about my models (their privacy is sacred to me). As for your considerations on BDSM.. I basically agree with some of them.. but only in the case of girls who model for barefooting sites for purely economic reasons (I have met, and worked with, my share of those girls.. I am honest). Yet you should consider that the mindset of several Barefoot Urban Girls (and also of several TIA models, I think) about barefooting in public, also in "weird/extreme" conditions (e.g. in autumn/winter) is not "OMG, I am so embarassed.. what I have to do to earn some money!  ".It is rather "I am proudly walking barefoot amid hordes of shod people, even in difficult conditions, because I love to be different from the pack, and because I love getting people's attention ".You should never forget that many girls who are into modelling, be they amateurs or (semi)professionals, have an exhibitionist nature! So yes.. walking barefoot in public (especially in extreme conditions) may cause some physical/psychological distress to some girls.. but to most of the girls who are available for barefooting photo/videosessions, the pleasure from the "exhibitionist thrill" more than offsets the distress! Trust me, because I have heard this from many of the models themselves! OK.. I'll tell AMELIE about that.. I am pretty sure that she will be super-glad to be.. "punished" in that way.. That said, Iīm even happier to know that majority of girls actually take a sort of pleasure in modelling. Why? Because it means that they want to return! You have perfectly got the point, @bfwatcher! Models who love posing are the go-to ones.. the ones I would like to shoot forever! There are exceptions to the rule (usually due to jealous boyfriends who force their girlfriends to quit posing )..yet when you notice that a model poses for just 1-2 shootings.. there are good chances that she does not actually love modelling, and that she poses mainly for the money! It's pretty easy for me to set out the girls who pose mainly for pleasure from those who pose mainly for the money! ALL the girls I have shot several times over multiple years are exhibitionist at heart, and love modelling! An exhibitionist attitude is an all-important element for a model.. sometimes even more than beauty! As for the autumn session starring CHAT NOIR.. no spoilers, sorry! |
