| Michael´s question about American City Feet made me think about barefoot girls and their nationalities. In other words, which updates do you usually look forward to most; French (Postmodern Women), German (Toes in Action), Italian (Barefoot Urban Girls) or Russian (City Feet)? Or more generally, do you think that nationality is an important variable in terms of the beauty of female feet? Cheers! bfw |

| Well, considering the fact that I have been shooting them for over 10 years.. it's clear that I have a soft spot for Italian barefoot beauties.. What makes them so special to me is above all the fact that you need a strong personality to dare to go around barefooted in a country which is the cradle of the high-fashion shoes! German girls rank a close second, for two reasons: 1) it's surely the country with the highest presence of true 24/7 barefoot beauties; 2) German barefoot girls are generally super-friendly and open minded: quite a few Toes-In-Action's models (JANINA, KIRA, SHEILA, LO, MAJEIRA) have been ultra-glad to pose naked for my http://barefoot-nudity.com/home.html website (thank you so much for your help in making this happen, Hal!  )French barefoot girls are surely charming, but I cannot speak French and my experience is that French girls often have a not-so-friendly attitude towards guys who cannot speak French.. they get the third place. Russian girls are often of mesmerizing beauty, but I have always felt Russia as very distant from my culture.. Russian people kinda get me uneasy. So.. Russian barefoot beauties rank fourth for me (sorry Paul!  ) |

Absolutely! On the other hand, there´s something about the way particular nationalities tend to make their women. Frankly, sometimes I´m not impressed. |

| Oh, my! This is one of the most difficult decisions ever, since I have favorite models from each of these countries. As Feetosopher pointed out, Germany does seem to have the greatest quantity of friendly and eager barefoot girls, so that’s a big factor in Germany’s favor. That also makes Germany the country I would most like to visit myself. I mean, Hal seems to find a new barefoot girl every week! How can you not love that? France seems to have fewer barefoot girls, but Arnaud’s work is first rate, and Maud and Linda are legendary models, and rightly so. Russia has some absolutely stunning, jaw-droppingly gorgeous girls, and they certainly seem to be fearless, considering they will go just about anywhere barefoot, based on the City Feet content. Which leaves Italy, where Barefoot girls do seem to be more rare in than the other countries, so the ones that do exist seem extra special. I do love so many of the Barefoot Urban Girls, so I guess my personal ties to The Feetosopher would give my vote to Italy. So, in an extremely tight race, my order would be: 4. France 3. Germany 2. Russia 1. Italy |

| Also, I know Canada was not one of the choices, but I’ll put in a good word for this guy who goes by the name of Everage on DeviantArt. http://everage.deviantart.com/ He doesn’t have a paysite, but he posts a huge amount of content of Canadian cosplay girls, and he usually gets them to go barefoot. Dirty feet are rare, but the photo shoots are often outdoors. |

Excellent analysis. The way I read it, girls´ culture and nationality do matter then! As for my vote, it´s Russia, followed by Germany, Italy and France. |

Thank you for your reaction. Sure, the task isn´t easy at all. Well, try to imagine this one: you´ve got the authority to make ONE country pass a law forbidding young women to wear shoes once a week. Apart from your own country, which one would you choose?  |

Dear friend, thank you very much for your vote in Italy's favour!!! I have no problems in admitting that even my own was a very difficult choice: in terms of pure beauty, the four countries all boast top-class girls, and some other countries would surely deserve a mention (Switzerland, Denmark, The Netherlands and Australia, just to name a few). |

to me the cultural factor is nearly as important as the looks, sir: as I said, a girl must have a very strong personality to feel sexier in bare feet & dirty soles than in high-heeled sandals!Being a barefoot beauty is first of all.. daring to be different, to be ahead of the pack! |

| I chose Russian first because I'm in love with so many of Paul's models, and after all, that's why I'm here in City Feet....they're my main attraction, and what spurs the great competition in the great tournament that's going on right now. I really didn't like listing them in order of preference from 2 through 4 because first of all, it's hardly fair...Hal has such lovely girls, most notably the great Katya,...and Feetosopher's claim to fame is obviously Swains (no, not really, as he has so many other lovely models), he has so many other luscious girls as well that I have expressed my sincere admiration for. Arnaud is somewhat limited...he has the gorgeous Maud and Linda, of course, and this lovely girl named Caroline. I wish he would be more active with his updates....Well, the market is definitely cornered regarding lovely barefooted women with these four sites....I don't think any other country, including the U.S. could possibly improve on anything, though I'd love to see their efforts. |

| I'd love to see an Australian version of City Feet!! Australia is so barefoot friendly, I'm amazed that Aussie girls haven't made a big splash yet! |
