| Hello there, I cannot but say again that your pictures are very good.. and the "real life barefoot heroine" flavor of your sites is another plus.. people needs heroes and heroines, and true stories nowadays.. you should consider running a pay website about your BF lady.. Us "old style" footographers are probably bound for extinction.. but not before putting up a brave fight..  All the best from Italy!!! |

| Wow! I like these. I am always interested in barefooting in fast food establishments. There a few great city feet clips going in Mcdonalds - one where the model brazenly walks right through a spot just mopped by an employee! Would love to see closeup of your wife's soles - which in my opinion also tell a tale of barefooting. |

| Thanks! My wife has been almost entirely barefoot for around 2.5 years. Today, she went barefoot into the nursing home where my mother works (she apologized because she thought my mom would be embarrassed, but my mom laughed and said no one noticed), and then to a family dinner at a Mexican restaurant. She only wears flip flops if she's going into a public restroom, and then takes them off as soon as she leaves, or if she's running (huaraches) through an area with lots of broken glass. We went through a period where I was removing shards of glass from her feet a couple of times a week. |

| My favorite one is the muddy path pic. I can almost hear the mud squishing in her toes! And that part makes her special because I know boring girls that would not dare walk on a muddy path barefoot. From the photo I can also sense that it is damp, dreary and chilly. A true barefooter would only do this! |

| I hope you guys don't mind me spamming the forum today. It was around 29º F the night these pictures were taken. Today got down to 17º F, and my wife still went barefoot, in public, at Starbucks and in Target (I got some pretty nice shots in Target). | Please do spam all you want. These pictures are great. I wish more would share photos of their barefooting wives or girlfriends. But of those that do these are top notch. Beautiful wife. I like the last two sole shots. Beautiful soles too. 17 degrees is very impressive. |

| After having coffee with a friend this morning, my wife walked up to meet me at my office. Here's a pic of her as she's beginning her walk home (we live a little over a mile from where I work). I offered to drive her home, but she refused, saying she was looking forward to the walk. It's really interesting (funny) seeing the reactions of passers-by. If you don't count the minimalist running shoes she uses for long-distance runs (usually anything under 8 miles, she's barefoot), she's been barefoot all month. She's planning on running a marathon barefoot sometime this year. So far, her record is 35 days. She didn't wear shoes at all in November. |

Thanks Kiwifeet, she's a true gem! How do the soles of her feet feel? Do friends or family check her soles to see how strong they are? Would she do dares, such as running on sharp gravel, rocks, things like that? |

Her soles are like supple leather, but the skin around them is a bit rough, and getting a little cracked (which I really like). A few of our friends have touched her feet to see how strong they are, but I think she was really surprised by it.
I'm not sure if she'd do dares or not. She's hiked barefoot, gone geocaching barefoot, run several half Funny story...I was taking to a girl at a photo shoot tonight and asked if she knew my wife. She said she'd heard the name but couldn't think of the face. When I said that she was the woman who walked barefoot everywhere, she knew exactly who I was talking about! |

How long will be this marathon ? What kind of surface she will run on : only asphalt or also countryside path ? I suppose she have to train running barefeet,on the same type of surface of the marathon. |

| If she's running a barefoot marathon (26.2 miles), it will likely be asphalt, but it might be pretty rough unless it's fresh. She's been running barefoot for several years. |
