Is the Eurovision week-end so here is a couple of barefoot perfomances for this year. And they are great songs too. It is curious both barefoot perfomances are Celtic-like songs. Spain ten points. L'Espagne dix points! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqDNdK2R-58 Denmark twelve points. Danemark douze points! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k59E7T0H-Us PS: I hope you get rid of that spammer bastard.

I was very impressed with the high number of barefoot singers in this year's competition, which included two of this years singers, a backing singer and dancer for another act and yet another dancer for another act (though I suspect that she was wearing hoses). We also saw last year's winner doing a medley, performing barefoot again. Also, is it a coincidence that three of Eurovision's winners have been barefoot?

Is female barefooting going mainstream? I'd be curious to know whether all these barefoot singers actually walk barefoot in everyday life.. For what I know, Sandie Shaw (the 1967 barefoot winner) was not at all an urban barefooter in real life.. performing barefooted was just a trick to get attention. This said, all these girls are gorgeous but.. coming to music, I still prefer Killing Joke!!!
