City-feet members' message board > To walk or not to walk? > Painted Toe Nails

Hello,
l hope that every body, might just agree with this Topic and a few comments
that young women, and not forgetting girls too will paint their toe nails so that
they will, almost without knowing turn either their boy friend on or hopefully
anybody else that they just happen to see. Is this right l for one think so, and
l am sure that there are lots of other men out there who also think this. After all
they are out on the town having a few drinks and probably looking for a friend for
the night, so to enjoy the night. It is now also true that they will be in their bare
feet for most of the night as well so to show off their painted toe nails. They know
how to turn men on. Young women and girls choose to walk about barefooted as
it has nothing to do with not being able to afford shoes in most cases they will
often be seen carring their shoes in their hand. Please reply with any comments
that you might have and am sure that this is true in this day and age.

It is indeed a fine sight but one that has been very rare in London this year with the miserable wet cool summer we've had.
I only wish fashion journalists would pick up on it and start recommending going barefoot as a fashion trend.

I completely agree Ted! Somewhat, somehow, being barefoot should turn fashionable for girls. They should realise that, being pretty, they need not to hide their pretty feet but showing them to the world, that they need no shoes to look cool and beautiful, au contraire, that they can dare being barefoot and still keep looking great.

I think that, if any famous artist, singer, etc. would consistently walk barefoot, many girls would follow her.

I agree with you guys, and I would be an ultra-happy guy if it came to pass, but I can't ever see it becoming fashionable, at least not on a massive scale.

The reason being: People in general don't like pain. You let a trendy girl, who's only going barefoot because her favorite singer is doing it, stub her toe really hard, or step down on something super sharp just one good time, and her public barefooting days would instantly be over.

That's why it's important for us admirers to uphold and appreciate the true-blue barefooting girls in society. They are the ones taking the risks, they are the ones who prime their feet for any and all terrain, and they're not following a fashion layed out for them by some trendy magazine or MTV in doing it. smile.gif

Hi,
As l started this Topic l can really agree with the comment about it being
a trend , after all every body knows that if some one see`s some thing
different people will copy it just to be the same as the next person. So it would
appear that given time it won`t be strange or have people pull silly faces and
some times pass a comment about seeing a person in their bare feet. After all
they are not really suppose to be in cased in shoes in some cases it is not
healthly, am sure that is why people started to kick their shoes off in the first
place! The simple fact is many famous people and pop stars are now seen in their bare feet so it probably is a trend after all!
Keep the shoes under the bed!

Lou is right that one should not be barefooted just because it is fashionable, though in case of other fashion trend this is just the case. On the other hand, if it would be fashionable, people who WANT to be barefooted but dont do so or just not as often as they would like could actually be barefoot without the funny stares and coments.
I have seen one instance of bare feet being fashionable. That was again Germany. This was yeeeeaaarsa ago. I was reading a magazine for youngsters. They were reviewing a set of clothes I can remember really. It was a skirt for sure and dont know what else. And they were suggesting what to wear along with the set. And here is what they said: flat shoes or barefoot. I was amazed. So I think Germany is barefooters paradise.
