Ladies and Gentlemen – I have good news. I am excited to announce that between January and March I will be holding the mother of all tournaments.

The four different winners of my CF tournaments (Margarita, Natasha, Valeria and Alla) will be joined by the two winners of Barefoot Urban Girls (Chat Noir) and the Miss Barefooting Universe Competition (Amelie), and over the course of the seven weeks after launch, the models will battle it out – one on one – in this ultimate clash of champions.

The format will be a round robin – with no eliminations – where every model simply battles the other once.

Two points are awarded for a win, with one apiece for a draw. An extra point is awarded to models that win by a margin of six votes or more.

Tied positions will be firstly settled by H2H results, then Vote Difference, then based on the number of ‘declared’ votes on the forum.

It will be Chat Noir.

Bluntly put, I am not counting the Golden Five "contest" as it was a one-off poll, not a tournament, and the vote was very diffused given that 11 models were involved. I realise Swains won that poll, but Amelie was only three votes behind.

And it was two years ago.

Had it been the two of them (as may well be the case in the MBFU final) then there would be a good case for inclusion.

Beside's I've christened it "Super Six" now. No going back smile.gif

Any battles catch your eye? In the same spirit of the Six Nations (a rugby tournament famous for Italy finishing last or second-last every year tongue.gif) - where, say, England v Scotland is the Calcutta Cup - the schedule will kick off with three 'rivalry' matches, the winner of each will therefore begin MBFU Super 6 with a piece of minor silverware!

Named after the number of knockout competitors they beat in total

A duel between the two previous winners of the current six-heat Championship format. This was originally to be a one-off battle, but with two BUG girls enjoying a tournament win, I decided to simply move it into this tournament.

I like this round robin format! During previous contests, I had wondered how it would have ended had it been a round robin. For example, in the most recent Miss Barefooting Universe contest, a lot of my favourites ended up eliminating each other. Chat Noir fell out at the quarter-finals, which is not very glorious. But had it been a round robin, I'm sure she would have been in the top 3.

I kind of wish we had a round robin format for each of the major sites (CF, BUG/BN, TIA, and "other") and then another round robin with the top two or three from each. Maybe I'll set that up one day, once your contest is over. I wouldn't want to cause "contest fatigue", lol.

I agree with markpendre that the round robin format eliminates the issue of the "soft" vs. "hard" side of certain FIFA World Cup-style tournaments.
I definitely support also the idea of "intra-site" round robin tournaments, and then a round robin among, say, the 2 leading models of each tournament.
I will be absolutely happy to set up a round robin tournament for http://barefoot-urban-girls.com/.

The issue to solve is always the same, however: which models should take part to intra-site tournaments?
It would be very difficult for me to make a selection for BUG.. and also leaving the word to forum members only would have its downsides.
For instance, Markpendre would probably kick in IRIE, KEA, UMA, COBY, POSTI and other hippie-style Barefoot Urban Girls,
even though they are by no means representative of the entire BUG roster, and probably less popular than AIKO, VIOLACEA, SWAINS, ALYSSA,
STEFANIA, ARIANNA, GIORGIA, LADY D, EYLUH or FAIRY among BUG subscribers..

Whatever.. let's focus on this contest for now.. which will also reveal who, between AMELIE and CHAT NOIR, is best equipped for..

It will be very difficult for me to vote in any of the matches. The four City Feet candidates are very beautiful, with two of my all-time favourites, Alla http://www.city-feet.com/models/252/view and Valeria/Olga http://www.city-feet.com/models/238/view. Choosing between Amelie and Chat Noir will be easier for me. I am looking forward to the kick-off.

I hope that this will spur the launch of similar tournaments for the other sites, and finally the "Barefooting Champions League", which could be four groups with a round robin formula, semi-finals involving the four group winners, and the final.

To be honest, I'd be happy for you to arrange CF contests on here and take the reins. If the Super Six was my swansong, it would be one hell of a way to draw the line. I'm not sure anything I do after will top it.

I think my Championship is all very well, but I guess eliminations/KOs create a lot of questions, whereas a round robin like the one you are considering provides more room for expansion, perhaps one that opens the door for more models to enter if such as "Champions League" was to spill over into social media.

Eventually it will gain notoriety, and perhaps encourage a revival of women regularly going barefoot in public. (does evil laugh, puts little finger to lip)

Together I think we have the potential to build on some solid foundations.

Well, as I already wrote, I will surely organise a round robin tournament to select X http://barefoot-urban-girls.com/ models
that will be admitted to the "Barefooting Champions League". I will definitely support the latter, as well as any intra-site round robin tournament
that will be set up to the same end. It is pretty obvious that I could never set up and manage tournaments for TIA or City Feet,
but I am pretty sure that we have some guys here that can perfectly do the job.
I doubt that they may be Hal and Pavel themselves, but you can never know.. smile.gif
As far as the BUG tournament is concerned, in early March I will launch a call for forum members to propose the "wonderful eight" that will take part to it.
I will also propose my own selection, but my proposal will count as any other guy's one.
The eight models that get the highest number of nominations will take part to the tournament.
That said.. I am looking forward to day one of the Miss BF Universe: Super Six contest! wink.gif

I see fewer votes (10) in the first set of matches of this tournament than in most matches of the Miss Barefooting Universe contest (15-18). This is really a shame, and I hope that this tournament will get from forum members the attention and participation that it deserves.

Week 2 has now ended, with Amelie and Natasha going 2 and 0 after comfortable wins. MBFU 2020 winner Amelie gets the extra point because of her enormous 10-0 rout of the CF Greatest Classic 2015 champion Margarita.

I have also decided, due to frequent insults from him, that nudescalze's Declared Votes - the tertiary means of tiebreaking after H2H results and Vote Difference - will now NOT count in this competition.

His voting seems entirely based on venomous nationalism and out of hatred for non-Italians and contempt for the spirit of gamesmanship, rather than his love for beautiful barefoot women. If he even has any.

Above all, his refusal to vote in any all-Russian matches is, in my opinion, just disrespectful. Time and again he has called this contest "bullshit" and a "swindle", and there is only so much shit I am willing to take.

I believe that nudescalze is doing exactly what he was doing throughout my Miss Barefooting Universe contest: trolling. Do not give him an importance that he does not deserve, Duffman847. You are running a fair and fantastic tournament here, and you have the support of the most influential forum members, including The Feetosopher. Some comments on the contest standings after week 2. I think that Amelie will be a tough opposition for any City Feet model, including my favourite Alla, whom I will support to the end. It is really painful, for me at least, seeing wonderful, elegant Valeria in the bottom positions.

I fully agree with barefootfootseeker's suggestion about nudescalze.
How he got control of that profile (which some years ago was managed by a former Barefoot Nudity subscriber who lived in my area..
his English was rather, er, "basic" compared to nudescalze's biggrin.gif ) remains a mystery to me.. but he is clearly here to troll (he calls that "having fun" smile.gif ).

Now, coming to more serious matters.. I also agree 200% with barefootfootseeker about the SuperSix.. top-class tournament!

You are totally right, Duffman847. We are talking about the cream of barefoot beauty in this Super Six tournament. Just think of all the outstanding models from City Feet, Barefoot Urban Girls, Toes-In-Action etc. that do not take part to it. And someone has to end up in the sixth place, indeed. We will see.

Week 4 is finished and Amelie has returned to the top after her second bonus-point win of the tournament, with a 9-3 victory vs Alla!

In the other match, we had our first draw of the tournament, with Margarita and Valeria getting 6 votes each. This means that both girls are now out of the running.

Week 5 has finished and now the endgame is in sight. Chat Noir beat Valeria 7-4, and got her first win in the process...... however, she needed straight bonus wins to stay in contention.

So Chat Noir, sadly, is the third contestant to find herself out of the running. She can only match Amelie, but Amelie beat her in week 1 so has the advantage

In the other battlle, Alla beat Natasha by a single vote (6-5) to go second based on the subsequent versus record against Natasha.

In practice, Amelie now needs only a draw from one of her final two fixtures to claim the crown of crowns!

Congratulations to wonderful Amelie! I am sorry that my personal favourite Alla did not get the title, but Amelie is surely a worthy champion. She got two titles in a few weeks: the Super Six, and my Miss Barefooting Universe contest. It is a pity that The Feetosopher has not celebrated Amelie's victory yet. I hope that he is OK.

Amelie's win ensured a perfect tournament, while Alla's win cemented second place on the podium.

I've had a great time, and I'm sure you all have...... well, NEARLY all of you. Or at least anyone who matters on here biggrin.gif
