| I have just witnessed a fantastic sight. An incredibly cute girl with barefoot sandals on, her soles were filthy so she had been out for a while. I watched from a distance and then she went off to get on a train, it was such a treat. Alas I was unable to get any photos. Anyone else seen any recently? |

| I would say she was mid twenties, had a short red dress on. Lovely blonde hair, she was very sexy indeed. The sort of looker that you would have stopped and stared at had she been wearing shoes! She was with an older unattractive woman who had shoes on. They were both carrying bags and I saw them in the queue for Burger King, I stopped to look at some pictures on display and obviously kept glancing across at her. They both then walked off and up one of the platforms to get on a train. It was a great sight to see at lunchtime! |

| Some weeks ago I saw a pretty girl walking barefoot in Berlin metro station. Her feet were beautiful: long, slender, high arched, with somewhat long toes... and her soles were pitch black, with the exception of the arches. It was about 21:00 and she was just walking around. You are so lucky with that sighting! Was she wearing red toenail polish? I think that would have gone great with her red dress! |

I love those barefoot sandals, .... they bring back memories of a girl in one of my classes in the 12 grade who though she was slick and wore some to school. She was pretty on top of everything else, and even showed off her dirty soles to the teacher and the class...those dark gray dirty soles of hers,...my, my.  She had some of her friends trying to tease her about them though. Pissed me off, because I wanted her to be able to make it all day long that day. I'm sure that she must have gotten busted before the day was over. There was no quarter given a barefoot girl, as they were always sent home. Oh, the stupidity of that...because way back in the old days, and even today, in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, I hear, they tolerate bare feet in school....what does it matter if you aren't wearing shoes anyway? |

It's the only "foot covering" that I don't mind...I love em'  ...so much better than those dreadful flip flops,......but flip flops are better than closed shoes and sandals, so there you go..  |

@Michael: Yes, I love barefoot sandals as well. And you're right about South Africa --- I lived there in my childhood/teens and girls in my class would constantly walk barefoot on hot days, it was totally normal. We even had a few lessons that required everyone to walk barefoot, like theatre class. I remember the female teacher always entered the class and her first sentence would be: "Please remove your shoes and socks".  -Hal- |

Judging from the signs on the cafe's door, this pic could have been taken in France or in the French-speaking part of Belgium or Switzerland.. but left hand driving and the taxi cab would say "UK".. interesting pic.. |

| @jwiggum2002: Great to hear about your sighting, but a photo would have been nice. Hopefully next time! As for the fantastic photo of the barefoot girl, I've seen this many times before on a Flickr account which has many photo's of barefoot women walking the streets after nights out. I beleive that this (although I won't make assumptions on the basis that there is no watermark) was captured by UK photographer Joel Goodman, who is primarily based in Manchester and shoots a lot of spontanious real life photo's - And has an amazing portfolio. One of his official albums is called "Mad Friday revellers" from 2013 and does feature several shots of barefoot women.
