| Marinera Norteņa is a typical folk dance from Peru, in which girls dance barefoot and men with shoes. Tatiana is a pretty Marinera dancer from Chiclayo and she can dance barefoot even on coarse cement and very hot pavement, because Marinera is her Passion! http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1077122096 http://img268.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=60804_TatianaDarinkaGuevaraAlarcon_122_587lo.jpg |

Yes, that makes sense. Anyways, the only way to find it out would be asking her on her Facebook wall, I suppose. |

Indeed. In Marinera Norteņa the women dance barefoot, so they need to toughen the soles of their feet. Here's Tatiana FB http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1077122096 |

| Tatiana told me that she danced barefoot at the cathedral on a very hot day. As we chatted, I wrote a short story about that day, inspired in all what she was telling me. Here it is: AT THE CATHEDRAL The sun of the North scorched the ground. It was midday at the Cathedral. Tatiana was afraid, but she would not chicken out. She had to dance and she knew it. Slowly, on bare feet, she walked on the rough pavement. It boiled. The soles of her beautiful feet were hard and rough, but not enough for this. The music started, and so the dance. Without stopping smiling, even though the heat that fried the soles of her feet out, she began to dance. Music guided her steps and she let herself go. The rhythm she loved made her swirl and twist, moving her skirt gracefully. She forgot about the pain on her feet, it didn't care anymore, all that mattered was dancing, dancing and dancing. She loved marinera with a passion. The music was over. The beautiful girl, exhausted but smiling, greeted the audience and her partner and left as she arrived, walking barefoot on the hot pavement, on sore feet but happy. http://img225.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=50713_Tatiana_122_732lo.jpg |

You're most welcome Hal! Thank you very much for your comment. I don't think Tatiana visits the forum very often, maybe you guys could pay a visit to her in her Facebook and let her now that you appreciate her pretty feet. |
