| Here's froend of mine from awhile back. One day she was sitting outside doing some sewing. As I walked up, I noticed she was using her heel as a pin cushion, believe it or not. Thick and flexible, supple...guess just like old, worn out leather.... That's the way the soles of a pretty girl must look and feel. |

Of the two ex-girlfriend barefooters I had, one had soles that were rubber-like. She could walk on the hottest pavement, gravel, subway gratings, etc. with no problems. Sometimes I'd pick small shards of glass out of her soles, she never even felt them. Another had a very set of white callouses that shined through the black dirt on her soles. Likewise, she had no problems going barefoot anywhere. It depends on the individual person. I met one barefooter, I think she lived on the streets, in Washington Square Park (NYC). Her feet were always coal black up to the ankles. She let me feel her soles and they were so soft, like someone who always wore shoes. Yet she walked on the searing hot pavement like it was just warm. So everyone is different. |
