I will not accept "celebrities" that do not show their faces. You have time till Friday 18 September to state your nominations. In case of ties, I will express my preferences to break the ties. | So if I get this right, this is about real barefooters who have a public profile, not about celebrities who go barefoot? If so, then I nominate: ALINA Blogs/vlogs about minimalist low-budget travel and now some more spiritual stuff. The interesting thing is that she doesn't advertise she's a barefooter. You'd be watching her video and then, oops!, the camera looks down and you see she's totally barefoot in the middle of Kyoto or Mumbai or wherever. People noticed eventually and asked, so she made a video to explain why she's (almost) always barefoot. I can see how you would think that as Olga's face is often obscured however her feet seem to small to be a man's and her ankles aren't hairy in any way. |

Nothing personal with you markpendre, total respect for your tastes and Alina is a cute lass after all.. the point is, I absolutely HATE girls that go barefoot "to be in touch with the Universe" and other crappy spiritual reasons, or "because it is good for your health". Those girls are usually narrow-minded towards all guys that find barefooting exciting, that have a bare/dirty feet fetish, etc. Their approach to barefooting is totally non-sexual or anti-sexual: they think that sites like BUG are just disgusting porn, and that us all "foot enthusiasts" are just a bunch of weird sickos. I warmly hope that she will NOT make it into barefootfootseeker's contest. |

| Well, I don´t really know any "celebrities" but a few years back I was amazed at how often this girl, who now goes by the name Alina Minier, managed to walk barefoot in snow. She goes barefoot in winter too. thanks for these links! i knew ivannas channel already (she is great and a true barefooter, i really enjoyed all her freezing winter videos, where she goes barefoot just everywhere) i didn knew alina, but i will check her out for sure! |

| Alina was very open to the barefoot topic, but moved away from it/ got bored by being known as "the barefoot hippie girl grom Germany" . She started as a vegan/ minimalist/ teaching herbs collecting/ weawing baskets and stuff under the name Flechthexe (weave-witch). Now she is a married lesbian mother; and running a eco-friendly business with her sister. |

Given that the two Alinas do not seem to be the same person, all the barefoot celebrities that received nominations are tied with just one mention. Therefore, I will state my own nominations to break the tie. I share The Feetosopher's view about barefooters like Alina, and Olga Demiana might well be a (very ugly) woman, but she truly looks like a man. |
